Hi, Kayakerak. Congratulations on getting through the surgery. Everyone continues to tell me everyday gets better and I have to say they are mostly right. I hope you continue to do well. I'm still struggling with water and protein intake but today is better than last week. Keep up the good work.

Good morning all! I'm new to this site. I had my Sleeve January 20th. I can't believe it has been over a week. Does anyone have any encouraging tips?

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm definitely walking. It is getting easier to get the water and protein in. My husband had the sleeve 16 months ago and He has lost 140 pounds. He is a great encouragement and support system. I'm looking ahead now. Does anyone have any good recipes?

sleeve pain after drinking liquids 4 days post-op

Hello, Finallythin. I just recently had my sleeve as well. I'm Day 6 post op. I understand your pain, quite literally. Nausea is also still a big problem for me along with gas. Gas X is very helpful. My doc also recommended Peppermint tea since peppermint helps to relax the GI tract. Also, sometimes just having ice helps me. I hope some of this helps. Hang in there. Any tips from others are appreciated.
