My screen name "imsoready2014" is my self-talk reminder to get ready. I am actually terrified about going through this process. I see some really great stories on all the forums and still don't actually believe that my story can be as successful. I have never been able to keep off 20lbs. My sadness and fear comes from the drastic unknown changes I will have to fair through. I am not the most agreeable camper! LOL My weight has been my excuse for a very long time. I am starting the mental part of this journey now so when I have my surgery, my mind will have at least tried to get on board with my new body. The surgery is a tool not my fix-it-all. I am looking forward to going to other new countries with a smaller body and free heart. I am in awe of the love I have coming from all of my loved ones. I see I really need their support to be successful. I just have to get there mentally and emotionally on my own first. I'm on this site to figure all this out.
