    Self pay HOW MUCH is it all together???

    Be sure your surgeon knows you're a self pay! It makes a big difference.

    I'm going in for my second fill tomorrow and I was banded on Aug 22nd. There's no fee for me since my insurance paid my loacal surgeon for the procedure and this is follow up care. My surgeon, Dr Christopher Hart, Atlanta GA area, says we're creeping up on the right fill level to avoid problems and I can attest we're not there yet.

    I turned 64 in June and got banded on Aug 22nd. The rest of my life started then.

    I was also banded August 22nd and got my first fill on Oct 1st. By that time I needed it. I was getting far too hungry, far too early. But, as of Wednesday, when I went back to the dietitian, I've lost 33 lbs post op and 15 lbs before. I'm on the way.
