HI friends!
I'm kcthequeen aka Kelly I was banded in July of 2012 and I started out at 318 and got down 80 pounds. Then I took a job that was 13 hours aday and my self care went out the window as I was just to darn tired. I have gained 35 back. I had a very hard year with a total hip replacement and I'm on the mend! I don't have the pain and lack of mobilty like I did before and I'm thankful for that. I went to get a fill and am trying to find that sweet spot once again. I'm just having protien drinks for now and soft mushy food soon. I swimm 3-4 days a week for my hip recovery and am doing well. I really need to create a support system to keep me going and on track. I think this is a great place to start. Dr. Chalk at Northwest weight loss in Everett Wa, was great but they are 175 mile round trip from my house for support. My motto for this year is I'M WELL AND FULL OF LOVE..... body mind and spirit. I have emotional eating issuses for sure. My mom passed away suddenly and that been really hard for me, as someone else stated she wanted me to get healthy and live a long life! I'm trying now that I'm in a well place.
My best advice make excersie fun and get buddies to show up with you if your a people person like me, that doesn't love the gym! Make it fun! and non food rewards like pedicures and such. I want to get to my goal but I
got to work my program and get stronger every day and find my groove. Thank you for all the supportive post
