Food(s) you thought you loved...
kcthequeen replied to steph2012's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hi Fellow banders! I'm with you eating fastfood or sanwiches is just not worth it! I have completely lost the fastfood desire. how about a cup of chicken chili at taco time? a yogart with fruit at Mcds? these are the things that work for me when family has the desire every once in awhile. Most of the time now i just wait to go home! I figure Why waste the money for the bathroom at these joints! coffee yes.lol thanks for sharing -

Can't seem to get back on track.

Hey , you only have five more pounds and you are in the 100 club!!! Way to go. That is a big achievment. Give your self some credit. One thing I do now to get me on tack and stay there is...every day I keep a food log, write down my affirmations, weigh myself at the start of every day to keep me focused, my exercise, and h2o for the day. If I don't write down my food I go into auto eating mode from emotions, board, and just head hunger. I'm a little older so if I want to loose I have to keep track of my caloires cause I don;t get many for a day!! oh I have a workout budy and it's fun to show up and feel good. I hope that helps. down about 20 lbs since Jan. I'm thankful for your honest sharring cause we all go thru hard spots. -
celebrate the small things the same way you would celebrate the big ones.

Hi Msoutlaw! Thank you for sharring! congrats on your bundle of joy! Sometimes things changes and we get detours on the journey...ie baby health isuses ect. I was inspired by your comment and it encouraged me as I too had a detour on the road of life. I got down much lower although not all the way to goal then I had to have a hipp replacement do to a fall and the pain sidelined me for about a year. I still get frustrated with the my progress. I ried to go to the gym and do low impact stuff that was just to darn hard and painful so I hit the pool and man I'm loving it. It is helping my stiffnessa progress has been slow but it's happening. It takes alot of hard work this self care business. Dr visits, adjustments, ect. but it's worth it. I'm dropping again but been gointo the pool for almost two months now 5-6 times a week. down 20 lbs. -

hi Libby your not alone!! It gets hard as we get older. I had problems too and I'm half way filled. What i did different is drink Water like 64 oz a day, this made my food go down so much better. I then a able to eat , be full for 3-4 hours and the wieght started dropping. I'm sorry to hear you are in a hard spot. don''t give up you deserve all the support needed to keep going.I see someone different when i go to my clinic and we clicked. Felt supported and not just rushed in and out like cattle. They also gave me the scope to make sure everything is good. Please keep trying till you get what you need. KCTHEQUEEN
