I'm fat. I can't move like I want to, I can't do the things I used to love to do. I am gaining co-morbidity issues like I'm "collecting ailments"! I have people I care about who are worried about my health. I have tried everything I can think of to do this myself - no luck. My doctor(s) have recommended this procedure (roux en y) for me and I am going to follow their advice! My insurance will finally cover this surgery (I was "high risk" and they would not cover it until Obama Care came along). I am excited, prepared, and ready for this challenge. It's been years coming, and I can finally do it. Wish me the best - and I appreciate any helpful experiences you've had which will help me along in this "new life" I've chosen!
