    instead of being scared, think of all the happy stuff like all the cute little clothes, the energy you will have, take less medications, love mirrors again, and my favorite.... Clothes shopping. Relax and enjoy your journey.

    Worried about maintenance

    Dont freak out. Relax. Breathe.. O.k. so ive heard about all kinds of problems that could happen. Every person has different journeys. Ive had mine june 2016 and pretty much have no complicatiins. Just little things. Im loving my 144 pound weight loss and lits of clothes. Im just saying relax and enjoy. Your journey. Its such an anazing world..???? kat

    Incision pain

    Hold a pillow On your stomach/pouch and press lightly on it. It helps when turning in bed. It will all be worth it. Have a great Day. ???? kat

    I'm 3 years out and drink a screwdriver periodaticly. no carbonation. moderation is the key and drink slowly. and you get buzzed faster.

    Warm Weather NSV

    I flew from Washington to Arizona recently. I got to wear shorts and loved it. But the biggest surprise was when I sat on the airplane seat and slowly buckled my seatbelt. I saw it buckle, heard it click and had a foot of of belt left over. I was so happy I'm dancing in my seat singing, smiling,,,,, bee bopping around ,then... .the stewardess came over and asked if I was o.k.? After I realized people were watching; I told her I had lost 144 pounds and was happy I was able to buckle the seatbelt without needing an extender. Next thing I know...people are clapping. I bet my face was a million shades of red. I thanked all and asked if we can go now..... That indeed was a new experience I shall never forget....

    Good morning to all..... #1 thing I miss........my mom being able to see the new me.( she. Passed on ) #1 thing I don't miss... being called fat names by people and the rude comments and snickers. Grrrr. I still defend and stand up for disabled people. have a great day....

    Non-diabetic..hypoglycemia?

    Ive had high blood sugar and on metformin. June 2013 had gastric bypass and ever since my b/s has been low. My main doctor prescribed checking my blood 1 x day. I check it bout 4 or 5 times day because I feel light headed etc. Told my doctor this and she basically said notin. So I have to buy more strips at the store. Very costly. Always carry Protein bar with me where ever I go. My advice is carry a snack and b/s meter with you always. Enjoy your journey.

    Hello to all.... Well here I go. Not really sure what a blog is. Kinda like a journal? I just know that i'm 141 pounds lighter and am lovin it. .Im more out going, want to do more things, love shopping for clothes. I change my clothes 2 to 3 times a day. I wonder if this is normal or is it just me who has gone clothes crazy? But they only thing I hate is the pain in my back, neck,shoulder, hip,and leg pain is still there...Darn it...But hey , my joints arn't carrying all that extra weight. Have an awesome day....

    What is your daily food intake?

    hello... im 2 yrs 1 month out. I lost 141 lbs and loving life...I eat about 600-800 calories a day, 2 Protein shakes a day, as much protein I can get in..about 70 to 80 g a day. I just don't think of food a major change from always grazing years ago.I have ice cream bout 4 days a week...1/4 cup and am satisfied.
  23. Thank you alex. I did it... 141 lb loss since june 2013. This is so awesome. I love clothes...i still enjoy my ice cream instead of having like 2 bowls full...i have 1/4 cup ice cream and no 2nds. A few bites..im full. Love it..
