I'm doing great on my preop diet. It's been surprisingly much better than I thought it'd be. How about you?

Hey Bobbi! I am also scheduled for the 17th. My surgery is at 1:30. I have to be at the hospital at 11:45.

After reading all this, maybe I'll "forget" my Xanax and ask for Klonopin instead!

My surgery is at 1:15 pm on the 17th. I have to be there at 11:45. Not sure how I feel about such a late in the day surgery. I don't know why it bothers me. Can anyone offer up any advantages of an afternoon surgery that I'm not thinking of? I don't know if I'm just getting nervous or what.

Hey Daunique 1! I'm getting sleeved 2/17 at Silver Cross in New Lenox! Who's your surgeon? The preop class is very informative. I just went last week. I'm on the preop liquid diet right now.

I'm super jelly of all of you that can have decaf coffee! I've had to give up food, diet coke, cigarettes, caffeine, and coffee! Lol We can all do this!! We are gonna rock these pre and post op diets and look fabulous very soon!

They haven't given me a time yet. I guess the hospital will call this Friday with the time. Eeeek! It's getting real now!! I'm definitely on board for supporting each other. It'll be nice to have someone going through the same stuff. I am hoping I can post once I'm out of recovery. I can't wait to never shop at Lane Bryant again!!

I'm in the south suburbs, near Joliet. I work downtown in the city. It's scary as hell now with all the ice falling off the buildings! It's like playing frogger just to get to my building every day. Lol

I have to take 8 a day!! They're horrible. I gag every time I take them. Anyone have any tips to get 'em down easier??? Pretty please

I'm in Chicago and we've gotten sooo much snow. It's ridiculous this year. I think they said on the news that last year in the month of January we had 9 inches and we had 59 inches this January. We have had so much snow that we have a salt shortage and they are running out of places to put all of it!

Thank you so much for the list, Super!! Sarah, be proud!! What a great test of willpower! Today was the first day it was rough on me. Just being home all day around four people who can eat whatever they want sucked. But I didn't cheat either. Yay us!!

My surgery center seems hell bent on us using only their products. I have to use their gross vitamins and gross Protein powder. It was included in the cost of my program fee. I asked them yesterday about switching to muscle milk and I was told not till after surgery. Same thing with the vitamins. I'm hell bent on doing everything I have to to be successful pre and post op, even choking down those nasty things. Thanks for all the input!
