3 months post op, 178 pounds. a total o 29 pounds lost, 28 more to go! i only lost 5 pounds in the last month, i didn't work out at all (maybe once a week), that explains it all. i'm having trouble figuring out a proper food and Vitamin supplement intake. some days i feel great, sometime super week. i take mutivitamins, B12,Calcium potassium and hair supplement. i dont know if i should add Iron too. and yeah i hair is falling of like crazy! a bald spot is building up in the middle of my head. i should really take the time to figure this out because i dont want to put my health at risk to loose a couple of pounds. your advice and recommendations are appreciated -

2 months post op, 183 pounds. The weight loss is slowing down drastically. I haven'tnt been working out our counting my calories so that's not helping either. i need to find a good diet plan to reach my goal weight. still don't know what's my stomach capacity, but I am eating way more than a couple of weeks ago. i suppose it's normal. I need to lose 23 pounds by June to be at a comfortable weight and the last 20 by the end of the year. Any tips or advice to keep loosing the pounds? -

Iam 4 weeks post op 188 pounds. 12 pound lost post op weight , 19 pre op weight. I happy with my weight loss. I could have lost more, my exercise level is low twice a week, and i havent been counting calories or cutting the fat. my food intake is less than 1000 caloriea for sure. My goal now is to loose 2 pounds a week, i can manage that. And be arround 160-150 by the beginning of summer. Ive been experiencing small pain when i eat, maybe im eating tok fast. Im gettin also kinda paranoid everytime i feel something in my stomach, i immediately think of a possible complication! Hopefully ill stop worrying and enjoy my plicated life! -

After the surgery everything went fine. Horrible gaz pain, like really really horrible gaz pain. The flight home was kinda unconfortable but i managed. ive been getting better every day. My stomach is not that sore anymore, i can even sleep on my stomach. I not hungry at all, this is crazy, i have to force myself to eat. Ive been on protein shake and protein soups and i try to drink a lot of water during the day. So far so good. I wi be posting an update every 2 weeks -

well ive been i read 2 or 3 post on the forum that kinda freaked me out with cases of stomach necrosis and leakage, i dont know if it was the doctor or the patient who didn't follow the post op diet, or past medical history http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/289244-my-plication-nightmareblessing/ http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/281700-complication/ -

i have my surgery scheduled for this coming friday the 24th! i was determined to make a change and booked it in less than a week, did a lot of research and looked at every possible info on gastric plication. i made my deposit and booked my flight no turning back! ill be paying the surgery with my savings (6500$!). it a lot of money for me but im investing it in myself to feel better and happier with my my body. my current weight is 207 pounds (5'7) and BMI of 32.4 my goal weight is 135 pound, a good 70 pound to loose! when i spoke to carolyn she told me that the pre op diet was not really necessary for me, but i need to try to get closer to the 200 pound mark, so loose arround 5 pounds. ill be traveling alone from Canada (am I crazy to do that?!) arriving on thursday the 23r in mexico and leaving sunday morning at noon. Really hope my surgery will go smoothly coz i have to be at work monday morning! WY the surgery now? starting a new job, want to make a complete change in 2014 and really want to make things happen. Ive been reading all your post and its been really encouraging for me wish me luck! on the road to a new me
