  1. I emailed them and they finally told me my insurance (United Healthcare/Oxford) doesn't cover it. Too bad, I was really hoping they would.
  2. I've been waiting, too. I went to a support group yesterday and I mentioned the program. I hope I don't regret that. If the answer is "no", just tell me. Don't keep saying that I will hear something in a couple of days.
  3. I was wondering the same thing. Upon my surgeon's recommendation, I lost 32 lbs before surgery. After the surgery, while still in the hospital, I lost 12 pounds. It's been 4 weeks since my surgery and I've only lost 3 pounds since leaving the hospital. I was wondering if this was my stall. I hope so because it's discouraging not having that visual of the scale moving.

    NSV: Airplane seatbelt fit!

    What is NSV?
  5. I get those quite a bit if I forget to take Calcium, so I take it right before I go to bed. Also, if it happened, I take a few sips of water and that seems to stop it. I've been plagued with these for a long time and the calcium really helps. Also, here's one of those "crazy" cures that actually helps. Put a bar of soap between the sheets at the bottom of the bed near your feet! Laugh, but it's helped for many people I know! Hope this helps!

    2 weeks out

I had my surgery on March 4th. While I was in the hospital for 3 days, I lost 12 pounds and nothing since. Consider yourself lucky! I would love to see the scale move even a little after all the work I'm putting in. I know I'm healing, but I want that visual on the scale!
  7. I had my surgery the same day as you and I'm in the same boat. I lost 12 pounds in the 3 days in the hospital and nothing since I've been home. I know everyone says "your body is healing" but it is still so discouraging. I will continue to follow the program, but I want to see the scale move downward. This was a major decision to have this surgery. I keep thinking that I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what it is. As usual, I blame myself, which probably got me to where I am today! I will continue to believe that it will change and I hope you do to!

    Feel great but not losing

transition was good. I have a scrambled egg w/cheese for breakfast. I never thought 1 egg would satisfy me, but it does!

    Feel great but not losing

SkinnyMinnyIwillBe, I am eating pureed food, BM's have been fine, went thru menopause when I was 35, so not my time of the month. I was just hoping for something a little more significant.

    Feel great but not losing

Texasmeg, I mean that I feel fantastic! No pain, no tiredness, nothing. I have to remind myself not to lift anything heavy. As far as eating and drinking, I follow the rules that were given me and I have no problems at all. I'm not hungry, I have to remember to eat. I have been able to hit my protein and fluid goals without a problem. The only issue I may have is with water. I just don't like it as much as I used to. I've read responses to that so I'm not worried. I am concerned that the sugar free flavoring that I'm putting in it is hindering my weight loss.
  11. Hi, I was sleeved on March 4th and I feel fantastic. I would not have know I had surgery if it wasn't for my incisions! I'm just getting discouraged. I've only lost 12 pounds and that was in the 3 days after surgery. Is it typical for a stall to happen within the first week?
