You look fab well done and congrats -
Thanks to all you have been so helpful I really appreciate it. The closer it gets it seems the more people around me are saying the loose skin would be worse. I know this is not true but there is part of me that is scared.

Hi Gruiz. I think you will have youth on your side. When was 26 I lost 132lb and my skin was fine. It took no effect. It's just now 14 years later I am a little concerned. Best of luck for the op I hope to get my date soon.

Yeah you right and I planned the same thing but I am self employed and my income has dropped to less then imaginable so I am currently subbing my income with what I had saved. I am currently broke up with my partner and back living at home , and looking at other avenues for work. But as you said 2 years is at least a bit of time to build back up a few euros again. Thanks

. I think your amazing please give my congrats to your wife too. It's good to hear that 2 years later the skin is still tightening. I guess I am just a little concerned the the insurance won't pay for the follow on. I know it's the best option but with everything I have read it's the skin that bothers me as I think I might have a lot around my bum and it wouldn't be pretty. I know women have a thing about their bums but my is a reality it feels like an extension. One time I was standing on a corner, there was a truck passing when my friend said to move in or it would take my bum off as it passed I said are you mad that would be great????. Some times you got to laugh.

Hi indecision Thanks for you honesty, this is what scares me I think I will be trading one problem for another. I know health wise its the better choice but mentally it's a worry.

Hi Christian I hope so I just don't want to kid myself and be disappointed. Thanks for your post

Hi LyndseyD Thanks for your post. My insurance is paying for the op but I don't think they will pay for plastic surgery afterwards. I don't have children but I carry most of my weight on my legs and bum. Congrats on you loss to date that's fantastic

Hi Gmanbat Yes that correct sorry about the confusion. I am 5ft 4. I have always been heavy. When I was 26 I lost 132 lb in 8 months and skin wasn't a problem then but now it's the one thing that is bothering me.

Hi Kieshart Thanks for coming back to me. It's about 320lb/146 kilograms so I think I will have a long journey????. Can you tell me more about "call oven powder". I am in Ireland and have never heard of this. We'll done on your 65.
