I usually start out with one 8oz glass of Water first thing in the morning 6am. then I have a Protein shake around 7 or so. that shake is about 25 grams of protein. I then try and drink 2-3 8oz glasses of water before lunch. this morning I had the cottage cheese at 11. 1/4 cup.( 7 grams of protein) ate it slow. It rumbles but so does broth when I drink that. I am sipping on beef broth now, and then at 3 will have a 33 gram Protein Shake. Then I should be able to have something for dinner, and a protein pudding for a bed time snack. I continue to drink my other 4 8oz glasses after lunch until bed time. I was just looking for some ideas of pureed foods or mushy food to sample. Do you buy the egg drop soup already made?

Hello. I am just curious if those who have been sleeved for a while have been able to eat pickles. As a pickle lover I am concerned about this.. haha! also during puree or mushy stage, anyone have any must eat things that they loved? I havent really found any creamed Soups that have enough Protein to eat. I was thinking about taking some turkey meatballs and puree them with a jar of gravy and then spoon over a couple spoons of potatoes. sounds amazing to me! anyone have anything in the begining that JUST DID NOT work? that tasted horrid or didnt agree with them? I am 11 days post and worried about eating. I have tried cottage cheese and it rumbles a little in my tummy but I figure thats normal at first right?

Good ,morning! Just curious if anyone else has suffered from severe shin bone pain and super sore calves? I am sure its just from being a little weak and loosing muscle strength, but just wanted to see if anyone has suffered these same things. I know I mentioned yesterday about my incision site, but today it feels like if I put my hand over the spot they removed stomach from, it feel almost like there is a harden area under the skin.. anyone else have/had this? I site in not oozing or looking infected, it does seen swollen in that area, but its just under my left breast.. it sometimes feels like a knife is under the skin and is cutting through.. ouch it just hurts. Did anyone also run a fever 6 days after surgery? It has been low,. like 99.5 or so, but just got a little nervous about it. Have a great day everyone and thanks for the feedback!

I am 6 days post op. Feeling alright. having tons of burps and LOTS of rumbling gas pains. My kids can hear it ac-crossed the room. It is rather uncomfortable as well. Haven't heard very many people talking about soreness at the incision sight, so I am eager to hear others journey and stories! Of course as everyone else has mentioned getting the 64+ ounces of Water on top of your Protein intake has been SUPER hard, but I am hopeful that each day will get easier! I can feel each sip or swallow gurgling ALL the way into my tummy. Just feels YUCK! How about walking?? I was thinking of getting on the treadmill with my husband at my side and SLOWLY walking for 10-15 minutes. Think this will help with the gas? Anyone had problems with like beef and chicken broth making them more gassy? Thanks Everyone!
