    Cooking with bread crumbs...

    Thanks guys! I used to make sausage balls with some bisquick but that worries me too! Think I will stick to the egg and some cheese since the meatballs call for them!
  2. So I am on the soft food portion of the show. I am wanting to make some meatballs out of ground chicken. (Always trying new recipes so no one at the house gets bored!). All of the recipes I can find call for bread crumbs to hold it togther! Anyone have any ideas as to whether this is ok or is there an alternative???
  3. Thanks for the advice! I hadn't really looked at it in terms of weight vs. fat! When I said stall, I meant that I have not lost in about two and a half weeks. I recently went 15 days without going to the restroom and finally went over the weekend. I hope this ends part of the problem! I see the doc today so I will definately ask him about groups around here!
  4. I can completely understand your feelings! People really do not understand that this is NOT the easy way to lose weight. Even a trip to the grocery store becomes a huge stressor! As for the Protein, I too can no longer drink the Protein drinks. They are entirely too sweet! What I have found is a product called nectar. It comes in various flavors (I like the lemonade and the cherry personally!). You put it in Water and then I add a little of the MIO in the same flavor to it to remove the whey taste. This way you get liquids and protein at the same time! It saved me! You can find it on Amazon if you do PRIME or a million places online. I have hit the blues-y feeling as well and just taking things day by day until I snap out of the funk! Best wishes to you!!
  5. I have looked for several support groups in my area and there are none. Anyone know of any good online groups? I find that I am becoming very frustrated. I have been stalled for almost three weeks now. I just overcame some serious bathroom issues which may help, but it did not help like I thought it would. I am going back to protein drinks and one meal to try to jump start a new loss so that may help. Everyone says they can tell I am losing, but as most of you know, I sure can't. Just hitting the winter doldrums I suppose....

    I had some mushy turkey at lunch and maybe 1/4 of an egg at breakfast. Now I am not hungry at all and I am not even crazy about the smell of anything!
  9. So, I had my first "meal" yesterday. Last night and today, I can barely get anything down and I feel naseous. I am also very sore on the left again where I was finally feeling pretty good. I am just curious as to how manyothers have had this experience? Should it be a concern. or is it normal? I guess I should add that using the restroom has not been easy since surgery. I usually 4-5 days between bm's so maybe that is a factor??
