Thanks so much for the answers. I was 100% there and excited. Got the surgery date and started my liquid diet and have had anxiety ever since. Feel like I'm not ready. Scared if I back out now the surgeon won't do it if I want to do it later. I got a 90 day approval letter...but I'm sure I would have to all of the preop stuff again. Scared.

Thanks everyone. I just keep thinking one more try.

Has anyone had second thoughts on surgery? Postponed?

No I got a booklet of information (45 pages) and it says no ice or Popsicles for 6 months!?
-
Thank you!!! Do u mix yours with milk or water? Shaker or blender?

My surgeon is saying that I can't have I've chips or Popsicles after surgery. Some people on here say that is the best thing that they had. Any one out there know why some can and some can't?

Any certain protein drinks that are actually good!? I've tried a lot. Nectar are the best I've found.

Start liquid diet in morning and so scared. Having second thoughts. But shouldn't. I weigh 350 pounds and am 5'5" and will be 40 at end of April. I am so scared of 4 weeks of liquids and the recovery. This app has been awesome in answering questions.

Have a surgery date...start liquid diet April 1. Any coping suggestions? I have been told and read that the two weeks prior and two weeks after are the worst part! I have a sit down job and really need to go back in one week. Is this something that is truly an option? Also is applesauce tolerable after surgery?

why dont u just stay on the pre op diet?

I start my first two week liquid diet tomorrow. Have to do this to jump start then do regular diet then liquids again before surgery. Is there such thing as the best tasting protein shake? I can use skim milk they said. And gave me a list of tons of kinds I can have. Any suggestions?
