  1. Hi all, I am 15 weeks post sleeve, I have read all the possible symptoms of dumping syndrome, and I'm note sure if I have had it or there is something else wrong with me. This is a typical example of my symptoms----- 5-10 minutes after eating (even things that are low fat/sugar etc) I hear my tummy grumble, this then turns to nausea, I then get a terrible pain and just have to go. I then end up sitting on the toilet with a bowl on my lap as I am being sick at the same time as having terrible diarrhoea. I would be so grateful for some advice. :-)
  2. Thanks for all of your advice everyone xx
  3. I had my op 3 weeks ago today, for the first week and a half I had no nausea etc, but since the middle of last week I have felt sick all the time. I started a mushy food on Wednesday and thought this May cure it but it hasn't. Is it normal to feel like this?
  4. I was given ant acids by the hospital before they sent me home and have to take 1 a day, have not missed a single dose.
  5. I'm so glad I found this site, anything that has been worrying me has pretty much been covered, I live in Northamptonshire in the UK, it would be great to hear from fellow UKers.
  6. 2 weeks ago today I had my sleeve gastrectomy. I'm finding it so hard to get the protein and liquid in, I have another week before I am allowed smooth food. I would really appreciate some advice, I feel upset all the time and just have no appetite at all. When did you stray to feel better and more positive? Thanks x

    1 week

I am now 10 day post sleeve. I would kill for some solid food as well!!! I am already planning my first solid meal, which judging from the posts on here will be about 5 mouthfuls of whatever I choose. Stay strong, we all had this done for a very good reason. Good luck with your journey.

    in a funk....

Sorry you are feeling so low, sometimes you just need to vent and you feel better. It's only been 6 days since I had my sleeve, and so far I'm ok, but there is a part of me that thinks what on earth have I done. In the year prior to my surgery I had lost 70lbs, but I realised that I could just as easily put it all back on and more without some intervention.
