I have eaten pasta, but very little and only a few times. I am not real good about getting in all my protein and fluids, but am working on that daily. I lost about 30 pounds pre-op and about 40 since my surgery, which was Dec 9, 2013. I have not begun a specific exercise routine, however I have done some (video) work-outs since being cleared for physical activity. I have found that there are weeks where the scale moves very little, and then I have weeks where it moves much quicker. I don't think there is an exact science, and as one member already said, there is no cookie cutter method that works for everyone. I am both blessed and cursed in that I can eat anything. I mean anything! Sugar, fat, carbs…nothing seems to upset my pouch. I sometimes wish this was not the case, as it makes it really tempting (and easy) to eat foods I should not be eating.
Sounds like you are doing great! Keep up getting in your proteins, as I have heard that is the real key to weight loss.
