Hello All, I'm 25 days post op and still on full liquids until 10/02/07. Its crazy I'm don't have an appetite but I'm craving french fries and pizza.. I know the band helps with my appetite but how do I deal with the cravings. Any advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Lulu -

Hello Megan, I know your pain. I had my surgery on 08/31/07 and I had the same symptoms. The best advice I can give is to walk, walk, and walk... Oh, and keep sipping your Water.. Good luck and hang in there it will get better in a few days. Lulu -
Hello August 2007 Bandster, My surgery date just got moved from October to August 31,2007.. I have never been so excited and afraid in my whole life. You know that feeling you get when you think your life is about to changed in a totally new directions. Are there any August bandsters in Houston, TX????

Hello Everyone, I was wondering what are the pros and cons of the different port placements.. From looking @ at the before and after pics there are a few different places that our doctors are placing them. Could some of you guys share where you port is located and some of the pros and cons? Hello New Family, I'm so excited that I found this site.. Just about all my questions on the lap band have been answered from this forum... I just got approved and hope to have my surgery in the beginning of September. Has any one been banded by Dr. Adam Naaman in Houston, TX.. Any feedback would be great.. Welcome Boomer46, Before my insurance was approved(declined twice) I was going to go the cash route. My doctor was going to charge $11,000.00 and fill were going to cost me $150.00 each.. Good Luck
