Thanks for the app suggestion. I am downloading it now!

If it is a pill it will dissolve and feel better.

Can you get water through? Maybe that would push it through? And is it actually a pill or just feel that way?
-
Haha. Thanks! I didn't respond because I didn't know what it was. So I obviously haven't tried it.

One good suggestion someone gave me was bringing a small extension cord for electronics. I found a nice one for $10 at target and it was a huge help. I was worried my hospital wouldn't let me use it but they were fine with it so I had plugs for my phone, tablet and an extra plug for my husband to charge his phone.

I've stalled too. Same weight for over a week. I just stopped weighing like an insane person and am focusing on activity, protein and water. I know it'll catch up eventually.

Just checked my math. I am between 3-4 liters of water a day. 6-8 16 ounce bottles. I can drink one in an hour now. Week one I was lucky to get one in a day. It was tough.

I am four weeks out. I drank 4-6 liters of water a day before sleeve. Now I am up to almost two. The difference in my ability to take in fluids between week two and four is astounding. Also I am back to my one mug of coffee in the morning. I am not a side drinker either so I haven't had that. Haven't had a soda in probably a year at least.

Even though you don't feel like eating and drinking, do you force yourself to? I had to set reminders in my phone and talked to my mom and husband and asked them to ask me if I had my shake or water lately. It helped so much and I noticed a dramatic difference in how I felt week two versus week three. Also walking made me feel great too. I didn't always feel good when I started but by the end I felt great and it helped me get through my days. I hope you start feeling better. Good luck!

I don't know if I have hit a stall yet. I got so worried about the dreaded three week stall and the frustration and anxiety that could come it that I stopped weighing at my three week mark. I will weigh in again this weekend or at my 5 week point. I'm four weeks out today and feeling great. I can notice a difference in my energy level no matter if I get enough sleep or not. I am very happy with my sleeve!

Yay SJ! You're onto foods. That's when I really started feeling better!

LIQUOR>> PLEASE HELP
Jencovi replied to Christian Zaccone's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I appreciate all this info. I am only 4 weeks post op and was dumb enough to have a drink with my brothers tonight. I'm shocked at how hard it hit me and forget my liver is working overtime. I won't be making this mistake again! -

I definitely still have cravings but they are so much easier to deal with. I eat a forkful of my chicken and mashed avocado and feel dull and satisfied. I now keep some mashed and ready in the fridge. -
The first three weeks I was basically losing a pound a day. After my third week I stopped weighing as often (that was just Thursday). On my 3 weeks I was down 23 pounds.

Isn't it amazing to look back on the last month? 3 weeks ago I thought I was gonna die. Now I'm running around in smaller clothes feeling great!
-
Hooray! Yay LeighAnne! Those game will be fabulous in no time!

I had an exciting morning. I am wearing shorts I haven't been able to wear for a year and a t-shirt I haven't worn since 4th of July 2012! Ahh. And I feel SOOO cute. Haha. Just had to share.

A stall in the first 3-4 weeks is completely normal. I know that doesn't help you feel better about it. I am also tired of the monotony. But I know it will get better. I hope you try to look to the future when you're feeling better and eating a more normal diet. We will get there one day.

I don't think any doc or nut would be upset with you trying to get your protein in
-
And yes. If you're eating you can still drink shake in between. At least that's what I have understood. I do not meet my protein goals without shakes yet. Not sure how I totally missed/didn't read that last sentence.

Has mom had surgery? Lol. In my first few weeks post op I was lucky to get one shake in during the day. Sip sip sip and get as much in as you can. And don't forget water too!
