Where do you find these broths? I spent way too much time in the baking and soup aisles today and saw nothing but plain broths and stocks. -

Stay well and away from any plague! If anyone so much as sniffles near me I feel like I could panic. -

Ha. I go Thursday AM and haven't even begun packing. I keep saying I will do it tomorrow. But I need to do it tomorrow for real. -
Hooray! Little victories. You're in my prayers.

I'm the same. I look back and think how could it almost be here? Then I look forward and think "is it Thursday yet?" Lol. -
Best wishes to you tomorrow!

No. The hospital is 5-10 minutes away depending on traffic. Thankfully. At least 32 miles isn't too bad. I know SF has a three hour drive to her hospital. -

I'm at 830 on Thursday morning. Check in at 630. I'm so glad it's early in the day so I can get it over with! -

I visited Greece a few years back. If you're a few months out you will be fine! Lots of hummus and soft tasty fresh foods. Ah, to be in Greece again. Good luck tomorrow! Praying for you for sure! -
This is great! Good luck in your travels and with surgery. Can't wait to hear an update!

In a few months you could bump it up to a protein shake.
-
I like that plan. Let me know if you're ever in so cal again. We can meet up and not eat a whole meal together. Haha!
-
After having them for three years, I'm good. Haha. We do love our weather. Today we went walking with our dogs and baby and it was gorgeous. We know how lucky we are. Maybe you can visit your aunt again soon? Lol.

I'm sorry ladies. We are bundled up here at 57*. I am not trying to brag. We lived in WA the last three years and those were closer to real winters. I got to experience seasons for the first time in my life. I'm so glad we are back in OC. Lol.
-
So I am assuming you have snow? Is it bad right now?
-
We certainly are spoiled having disneyland so close. Its fun to run over for a fence hours and tire out the little one. We love it.

Hello Lauren! I am having my surgery at St. Joseph's in Orange. I also live in Orange which is convenient.
-
Oh man did I want a big bowl of saucy pasta!!! Haha. Going out while on pre-op isn't some thing I would recommend. I only have til Thursday and will be back to my hermit self the rest of this week. Well, except for a disneyland trip tomorrow. But I'm going with my husband and our one year old so I don't have to worry about eating. We bring all our own snacks and only go for 3-5 hours in the morning. It's great family time and exercise as well. It will be our last trip before my surgery. Wahoo!
-
Her list is great!

Ok. Took my water but not my protein shake. Ended up eating some carrots with hummus and then at Olive Garden (only went because I drove my friend and it was her grandpas funeral) I had one bowl of soup. Their soup isn't healthy at all. But better than pastas and breadsticks. Which smelled great and were hard to stay away from!
-
Great to know. I use unsweetened almond milk already. I haven't heard of the PB protein mix. Thanks!

There are urine test strips you can buy at the pharmacy. They will tell you. Just go to your pharmacy and ask for ketone strips. I'm type 1 diabetic so I use them to make sure my high sugars aren't causing a bad reaction in my body which causes fat to break down. But many diets cause ketones (which apparently aren't bad if you're not type 1 diabetic) so people use them to see if they're burning fat.
