    Hummus

I now love Hummus now. Never used too. I don't eat bread all that much but I do eat pita bread at times. Reason why it doesn't clump in my tummy. I also use Hummus to dip my veggies in as well. I chose to watch my carbs but not go over board with going low carb.
  2. I know TMI but darn Aunt Flo is visiting and all I am craving is everything salt related! I broke down and had salty food last night. One happy thing is that I am back at it with logging now just to get that motivation a moving to get back into exercising!

I had the same problem this month too only difference is I wanted chocolate. I gave into the craving and now I am done. Sometimes you just need to indulge and be satisfied! Like @Dragonsmate said, don't beat yourself up. This too shall pass.

WLS has made me a judgemental jerk!

First, you shouldn't be shamed for posting such a forum because you are seeking help. I am pretty surprised by the responses on here. I am very opinionated person but I will leave my opinions on mental illness aside (which are not negative what-so-ever). You are going through a total life changing journey and you are making changes in your life that you haven't made or thought of before. I can say I have not experienced what you are going through but have come across others who got in that mind frame. So, I can sorta get why you would starting to be judgmental towards others (which is fine as long as you keep it inside of you). I have cut ties with friends prior and during this journey because they did not support me. It is rough to cut out family members. Also our fat cells hold a lot of estrogen so when we loose that estrogen gets released so BAM flood of hormones are released and can cause a lot of mood changes and such. When I was at your stage I was very touchy and emotional all the time. I am not 9 months out and I can say that I am not as emotional as I was before. Also other than all those darn hormones you are battling being bipolar which is hard, I know many with that issue. The best thing for you is what you are doing is seeing your therapist, I would suggest to have him to have your meds check on a monthly basis just to make sure that during this journey you are getting the proper care and keeping your illness in check. I wish nothing for the best for you, and best advice I can give you regarding some comments is to just ignore them and read the ones that suit you best. You got this girl!

Keep up the hard work!! (this is me before the surgery) (This is me after and 135 pounds down)

    Tortilla Pizzas

I made a delicious chicken fajita pizza with fat free refried Beans then topped with chicken and sauteed veggies. After that top it off with some fat free shredded Mexican cheese. Bake for 25 minutes and when it comes out put some avocado, salsa and a little bit of sour cream on it. It was so good! I had enough left overs to do them for a week for lunches.

    "The easy way out"

I hate hearing people say that any type of weight loss is the easy way out! It lights a fire under my butt every time to speak up and say something to them. I normally just ask people who judge "why do you think this is easy?" I wrote a whole blog about this. (check it out if you want here is the link: http://healthykayleesite.wordpress.com/2014/06/17/cheating/)

    Woman only please

When I had surgery my period started and never ended till three months later. After numerous tests and ultra sounds and a different doctor. I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) Usually being heavy hides PCOS for certain individuals, I would bring it up with your OB to see what he or she says. Its never fun to have irregular periods. Hope all the best for you!

New Dating Site for Bariatric Patients!

The site is an awesome idea! You should set up a Facebook page, and start a gathering from that as well. I have never seen a weight loss dating site before. I am now single now and currently on OkCupid which is not a bad site. I am just chose to be upfront with most of the people I talk to or go on dates. I have meet a lot of bariatric patients on that site as well. I would do some research on how to market it through Facebook and also various other social media sites.

  14. I will not lecture because lecturing sucks. But the one thing that I have taken was Biotin that you can get from GNC which was only $9 a bottle. I take one every other day, it has helped dramatically with my hair growing, and also my nails. Also, ontop of that I get Vitamin B12 injections monthly to help protect my hair. Also I use a shampoo that helped as well, that had collagen and biotin in it, which was Organix thick and full biotin and collagen shampoo. Target sells the shampoo: http://www.target.com/p/organix-thick-full-biotin-collagen-shampoo-13oz/-/A-14462805?ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001&AFID=google_pla_df&LNM=14462805&CPNG=Unassigned&kpid=14462805&LID=13pgs&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=14462805&kpid=14462805&gclid=CIWWyq-_6L8CFQUFaQodpRcAGQ GNC for the Biotin: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=480276&catid=183842&aid=338666&aparam=480276&kpid=480276&CAWELAID=120142990000023543&CAGPSPN=pla

    Eating?

Everybody's tummies are different. I know I can hold roughly a little over 4 oz of food, which is fine. When I was two months out I could eat the amount I am now. Rock on with the weight loss!

Hi there! I have had sushi with no problems. Sounds like you have a rough bout of food poisoning from having the sushi. Hope you start feeling better.

    Hair loss

I was blessed with A LOT of hair. I started to loose hair like crazy but only I could tell because of the freakishly crazy amount of hair I have. (part ape I think LOL) but I started with B12 injections then started with Biotin. I take that every other day, not super religious on it because it causes me to have really bad breakouts but helps with the regrowth of my hair. I just recently had a trim, got it thinned out because the new growth made it super thick again. And only took 1/2 inch off. Which felt better, I usually have short hair through the summer but I am going through this transition and want to have long hair for a while. I also use a shampoo that helps with breakage and hair loss which helps a lot as well. Its all normal to loose hair with this surgery because you put your body in such a shock. Your hair will come back, it takes some time. Good luck!

Are There Any Single Sleevers Out There..

Well I am recently single now, its been a while since I have been single. The man who I was with we both had came to a mutual understanding that the relationship that we were in wasn't going anywhere. We lost the passion we had with each other, the major reason behind loosing that said passion is because we lived apart in different cities. He is still my best friend, and was with me when I made this life decision to have this surgery. I am not in any hurry to get into another relationship but I will say I do like the new upcoming attention that I have been getting, makes me feel pretty and wanted again. I am looking forward to going on dates again.
