i think it is dehydration! I was to tight, better now but i am still not getting in my liquids. Gonna suck on sour candy and lemon juice, and drink more !!

Please dont be toooo tight, you wont lose, you will be risking a slip or erosion. I was in denial. You should be able to eat small portions of HEALTHY foods. I was thinking that being restricted would keep me from eating so much. This is WRONG. Please be careful with your band. I gained pounds the last 5 weeks and could hardly eat. When I PB'd I would swell and felt horrible. You can do this without feeling the restricition so much. The band isnt meant to STOP you from eating solid foods. If you are eating mushies and chips, ice cream etc, YOU ARE TOO TIGHT ! Be honest with yourself. Look at what you are eating, when you pb etc. This is your SIGN. Good luck. DONT SLIP or risk EROSION Ya'll.

sb... i see your ticker moved! Great. I pb'd yesterday, so i KNOW there is still enough in that band. I ate too fast. In a way, I was glad. it is scary getting fill out and wondering if it is working. LOL. I do feel MUCH better. Hope you do to. I ate salad. YEA YEA. Now, if i will just stay in that BOX. Have a good weekend.

I just wanted an attention grabber, tried to change the title but you get the point. I have had a close friend that did the really tight restriction, she lost weight, lost hair, got sick etc. she then had a slip and was very very lucky she got to redo the band and didnt lose it. Thanks!

Get some out of that band ! I just did this. Didnt lose for weeks ! I was in denial. I even gained ! Dr will be thrilled when you come in and get some out! He really advises and teaches that this is NOT the way to lose. I tried the mushies and actually gained ! I am on the bandwagon now to get everyone to understand this is the WRONG way to lose. You can do it better if you can eat the healthy foods. I hated getting any out but you just have to admit it to yourself that you are toooooo tight if you cant eat right. I will post my results from my unfil to let you know how it goes. I have found out that i can eat too much but i am not feeling hungry in between and that part is wonderful. I am pretending i can only eat the small amounts on my little tea cup saucer. It is great not to throw up or feel that tightening in my neck ! I cant wait to try salad again today ! I HAVE WASTED WEEKS OF NOT LOSING instead of getting to my goal.

thanks. I just want to get the point across that too tight is not good. You hear about all the restriction on here, mornings being tight are fine but you should be able to eat moist meat, healthy foods. I cant eat breads or dry meat but that is okay. I can stop reaching for the bad stuff now!

RESTRICTION is wrong. You can lose your band, really mess it up! I understand now. I got some out, now i can eat the healthy stuff and start losing again. These blogs on here about restriction are wrong. I actually gained a pound in 5 weeks, sick alot. miserable ! Listen to the ones that got the fill out! My doctor hates this about restriction on here, it is not healthy and is dangerous to you and your band. You have to be able to eat your meats and healthy food. If you are reaching for chips and bad foods you are toooooooo tight! I had a friend slip, dont do this !

I just had some fluid removed, I was tooooo tight and eating all the bad stuff. DENIAL ! This is not about restriction, it is about eating smaller portions and losing. I actually gained a pound the last 5 weeks. I was risking a slip or erosion doing this. Get that out of your head about the restriction being sooo tight. Not healthy, had a friend slip, dont do this! You can portion your foods instead and eat the health stuff. -
Sugarbear... sorry about your hernia, been there too ! I still have some restriction but yes i do have to stop eating ! I am trying to learn by full spot again. I am sure it will take some time. I dont want to push it but I did feel it last night "slightly". Dr. H. really was glad that i was getting some out of the band. He wishes everyone would quit getting the restriction too tight and quit wanting to be that "tight" thinking it will help you lose. Here goes... gonna try it his way. I hope you arent too tight to eat good food. I skipped my last fill and wish i had some taken out instead. I have gone a long time now not losing, actually gained a pound this last 5 weeks. NOT GOOD. I also could feel the swelling inside when I pb'd. That was miserable too. I am now against the restriction thing! Hang in there, the surgery isnt bad at all. Keep us updated.

That is sad! I didnt know her. Prayer for the family ! Sugarbear, sorry, I was there early and left this morning. I got some out and what a relief ! I have not lost and could not eat anything good for me. I will not be that restricted again. I am even going to try salad again. I ate some grilled chicken and it went right down! This restriction thing is all wrong. I know that I have to stop myself from eating too much but I think i can handle that now. I WAS EATING all the WRONG things and not losing. Denial !!!! Thank you everyone for your good advice, sorry i am so stubborn. Restriction is NOT what this is about. Thank you dr H for helping me out today ! Ya'll better listen to him ! LOL. Now, lets see what i lose !! Cant wait to start losing again.!!!!

Hey everyone. I finally admitted I was in denial. I will go get an unfil monday. The last couple of days my band has really gotten tight, got sick, etc. I have been trying to tell myself it was swelling but it is too tight. It is so funny, I know restriction is not the point but it does get in your head and you think you will lose that way. Hope to be losing again soon. Thanks for you advice, I am taking it.. LOL. Stay in the box this weekend. ! Happy Easter too.

thanks sugarbear, this can be so confusing, i even wonder if i am not eating enough sometimes. I finally made it thru a morning not getting on the scale. !!!!! i am going to stay off of that thing and watch my clothes get smaller instead. I have been stuck tooooooo long and getting discouraged. Thanks for ya'lls support and listening to me whine. I want to hear that ya'll are losing and how you are doing it. I really want to know what ya'll are eating daily. Please tell...thanks

what great advice. thank you ! I have caught myself eating things i know will go down. I found out today that stress really tightens me up too! Live and Learn. chew chew chew, box box box...what happened at the meeting, did anyone go ??

btw... still struggling if i am too tight. I cant eat in the morning and most of the time at lunch unless it is mushy or something i should be eating like sweets. some mornings are better. i guess this is normal?? I go back in three weeks. I hope this is why i havent been losing. I am going to give another three weeks and decide if this is the morning tightness or not. i do pb sometimes, i guess i should be doing liquids then mushies after i pb. do yall do this ?

i totally forgot the meeting !!! I had to work late and didnt remember. dd had her 4 wisdom teeth out tues and that was all i thought about. I need to get my 50 # pin too! Good luck everyone this week. Tell us about the meeting if anyone went to it. thanks !

just realized i missed my 6 months anniversary friday. It has gone really fast, was hoping for more loss but I guess everyone feels that way along the way. Still trying to decide if i am too tight, very confusing on here when reading other sites. Guess I am at a plateau. Hope to be at the support meeting mon. that should get me motivated again. How long weeks worth, without a loss ??

oops. i am losing a little hair too, trying to add the protein. I just refuse to count calories, eat sweets sometimes, am i bad. i am frusrtated with not seeing a drop in the scales too. but wtg lisa ! Hope for me yet ! sometimes i hate that box but i do love my band. still got restriction but want to eat more now. box, box, box !!! good luck everyone this week, hang in there plain and other new ones.

thanks for the update. It is hard to eat breakfast. The scales have been bad to me lately. I am definitely eating smaller meals, wish i could eat salad. Cant seem to chew it up enough. Way to go on the NSV ! You gotta be dropping pounds soon with that workout. Keep motivating us.

didnt get a fill this time. She almost took some out. I am tring to remember to chew and chew. I have gained a couple of pounds back. My ticker will just stay there until i lose more and catch back up ! Can anyone drink cold water at their current fill ? I might try the sippy cup. Does that work for anyone? LOL. Still... LOVE MY BAND. have a great week, hang in there you new ones.
