So I am almost 11 months out and I have experienced hair loss! I've heard that you may lose a little but I expected it to be sooner and not months down the road. For those of you who have experienced this already does it grow back? And what are some things you've tried to help your hair grow back healthier? Seems I've tried everything and I've noticed this past weekend it had got much worst one side is really thin and the other thick also its hard to retain length. So hoping some of you can share your experiences

beautifulme14 replied to beautifulme14's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes! Thats when I noticed mine after my surgery my hair was really healthy so I didn't think that it would get to the point it is now. I'm afraid to do anything at all to it but I do hope we both find a solution soon that both helps us because losing your hair as a woman kind of does something to you I know it does for me I've been trying not to stress too much about it and focus more on my weight loss but its been tough -
Stomach spasms

Yes! I know exactly what you are going through I had this issue for maybe two weeks but it gets better. As much as we all want that cold drink its so much easier to sip it at room temperature but its normal your body just went through trauma but trust me it will all be worth it -
Well I'm almost 11 mos post and was wanting to know is it normal to be hungry more often? Some days I may only eat twice which I know it should be more but other days I feel constantly hungry like I haven't put anything in my body. Is this the norm for some? Hopefully someone could give me some insight

I started out taking antacids at the beginning but haven't taking any in a while I will try that again. Now, that I think about it the feeling can be easily mistaking for hungry because there is no way that I am this hungry this often also I know that I need to increase my fluid intake like more water. Thanks for sharing your experience with me it was very helpful

Thanks so much Bella! I will take these things into consideration. I do struggle with my Fluid intake so maybe if I try drinking more it will help with my hunger. I think a blood test is a good idea as well because I find myself not having as much energy lately. You made a lot of good points things that I haven't thought about!

I will do that...I am 11 mos out best decision I've ever made! I had the pleasure of having my surgery in Mexico since my insurance would not cover it I must say that I was a little hesitate but it was a great experience, I was never alone! I am 80lbs down now thought I would be at 100 by Feb 18th but I am more than satisfied with my progress.
