My goal is 132. I started at 227, was banded on 12/12 and as of this morning I only need to lose 15 more!!! The last is the hardest, I have only lost 10 pounds since June. I am hoping to hit goal by my 1 year...we will see though!!

In regards to the eating...if your swollen, it is going to be like you have a really tight fill. Nothing going down. I usually try to start a meal with something hot...tea is usually my choice. I make sure that I drink it hot and that tends to loosen things up a bit. Everyone is right. Walking is going to help a ton, even if you don't feel like it. I would say at day 10, I was feeling great. It is true, one day you wake up and feel great. You will be there soon. Promise!

Munchie You are so right...do not settle. I think that is a very hard lesson to learn. Even though I have been married for 12 years, I sometimes wonder if I settled. Breaks my heart to think that. Although, I know that if anything were ever to happen, my list would be SO long that I don't' know if anyone would ever qualify...

Got another 1.5 in...I am hoping it works. 15 more to go according to Dr. K's scale. I am guessing I have about 5 lbs in skin off of my stomach (may be wishful thinking) but that would make my goal only 10 pounds away. Hard to believe. We shall see on Tuesday when I go into the PS consult. Yikes...exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. I am going to the surgeon who repaired Hannah's cleft...I figure he did such good work on her, hopefully he can on me too. As long as insurance pays!

I had a hard time with names...we got a morkie (maltese yorkie) about 2 months ago and named her Snickers. I was hoping it would make me never want one, but it didn't work!!!

I am also thinking of joining. I have been the same weight, size since May. I have adjusted my fills and still no loss. I am only 17 pounds from goal, so I am seriously frustrated. I also would not go into it saying that I had the band placed. I just don't know what else to try.

I take the B-12 under the tounge. I was feeling really sluggish and slow. I felt a difference the first day. I wish I had taken them all along!!

Tally I have a hard time drinking too. This bullet/crystal light combo are about the only time I get fluid in consistently. Espically when it is chilly outside!

Jamie... I love the bullets. I always get the peach or the fruit punch and put it in about 24 ounces of fruit punch Crystal Light. You can't even taste the protein. That is the only way I get my protein in now. I think they are very conveinient and yummy! Try it and let me know what you think! Brandy

I am here...alive. I had surgery last Wed on my bum knee again. The screw was backing out of the bone, so that had to be taken out. Crazy busy. No weight loss. I am hoping because of the stress of life, but must say I am fed up. Just feeling frustrated. I only have 17 more to go and can't seem to get there. I am going in on the 28th for a PS consult...my insurance will pay for it if it is deemed necessary. So thats what were praying for. It will take me months to catch up, but just wanted to pop in!

I too, need the girls lifted. Mine gets irritated.

SOOVERIT Love your name by the way! Do you have your surgery scheduled yet? I am local so it may be a possibility that I could stay with you.

PD No trouble swallowing...just a sore throat from the breathing tube. I was nervous that I would be a little tight and it would be hard to swallow, but was fine. You will feel a little restricted to begin with, but it will soon loosen up (unless your a lucky one). You will do AWESOME!!!! Let me know if you need anything...I am just up the highway in Brighton.
