Day 1 for 5 day pouch test: Other than feeling a little cranky/queasy...everything went great!!! Hopefully the other 4 days will go just as smooth! {FINGERS CROSSED, TOES CROSSED, EVERYTHING ELSE CROSSED} that this will jump start my weight loss. One gal said she lost 11, other said 9. I will be thrilled if I lose 5...maybe 7!! :glare:

How in the world did you lose 104 pounds in 6 months???

The only problem that I had was when I had a kidney stone and could not stop vomiting. Everything got swollen and I had to be unfilled for a while. I am now on my way back up...I go in on Thursday.

My doc usually lets us eat what we can tolerate...although there have been times that I will do liquids for the remainder of the day. Espically the "fuller" I get.

I have also been in a similar situation and it very hard. This happened my first time I lost weight, so based on that, I decided not to tell anyone but immediate family about my band. You nailed it...jealousy.

Mal that is so scary. My boys (including my hubby) are ALWAYS wrestling...it seems as if that is all they do. I will have to tell them that story and let them know that freak accidents can happen even if they are just messing around.

I had to get a replacement drivers license, because I lost mine. I was going to go in, show my proof of residence and pay my $7.00. The lady was staring at the screen and looking at me sideways, she just kept shaking her head and told me that she couldn't give me a replacement, because I was not the same person on the screen. Needless to say, after new paper work, more lines and $22.00 later...I am the proud owner of a new license with the "new" picture on the front!

OH MAL!!!! You must be so scared...I am praying until I hear otherwise.

Agreed, go where YOU are comfortable. It is your decision and if you don't like that part of town don't go. Only you can decide where your most comfortable at.

I had to do the clears for about 3 days and then was able to move on to "creamed" soups, jellos, puddings, shakes with milk...etc. I would double check with your doc just to make sure it is ok. Your still on a liquid diet, just not clears.

This one just made my night...going to bed now!!!

1/4 -1/2 c after surgery...although I can eat way more than that now (8 months out)

Mine has been amazing...sure it was hard at times, but he has really come through. I was actually very suprised...but because of his support, I love him more now, than I did before.

I have been using them too...unfortunately, I have not noticed a change...

Shame on them...like someone said...dont waste another thought on them. Chances are you will never see her again and she was probably only being ugly to you just to make herself feel better. She will get hers someday...
