    Migraines amd RNY

I actually hadn't thought about that, but that makes sense. I just moved to a new state so I have a call in to a new neurologist to see if I can have my medicine checked out. Thanks for thinking of this!

  11. I have had migraines for several years. They have been very well controlled with daily medication for nearly 18+ months. Since I had bypass surgery, my migraines have been out of control. I am getting 2 to 3 severe migraines every week at this point. No changes to my daily medicine routine. Anyone else experience this? Carrie

    Why?

When you wake up from surgery, you don't feel great, but the medicine they give you for pain and nausea control it well. You will have to get up and walking the same day as surgery and keep walking the whole time in the hospital. Once all the tubes come out after the first day, it is so much better. Pain was very easily controlled with medicine at home as long as you follow the pre and post op instructions.
