I had my surgery Sept 4 and have not had too many problems until about 4 days ago. I have a 4cc band, and am filled 1.8cc. My last fill was about 6 wks ago. I have this feeling of a persistent lump in the back of my throat which feels like a "ball" of congestion. Nothing will make it go away, and when I eat, unless I have mushy consistency foods, I've been getting stuck, and wind up throwing up. Could it be that I'm filled too much?, though why would this effect take so long to happen since my last fill. Any thoughts on my problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all, and Happy Holidays!!!

Thanks Jack, I'm thinking that I need an unfill too. I too have benn getting the constant sliming and burping. Problem is , it's the holiday, can't go to Dr.s office, only to emergency room, and I dont want to do that!! Guess I'll have to live with this until Wed. -
Candle I go for the meeting with the nurse next Tues 8/28.. What happens at that meeting? Then Wed, I go for the presurg testing. I'm a week behind you. Did you go to the Aug meeting on Tues 8/7? The pt who spoke that night was very encouraging, she looked great and gave me the hope that I too will look good and be much healthier after this surgery. I feel the future looks very bright!!! I wish you all the best on Monday, I'll be thinking of you!

Candle Hi my name is Sue. I'll be banded by Dr. Geiss on Sept 4th. His office told me the same thing about the gyno tests, I have to get my final clearance next week and was concerned about it too, they said not to worry, so I'm not.
