Lol!!! This thread is too funny! I nursed three babies so my breast sag already Two years ago I lost 65lbs and noticed the hoo ha sags but not too bad that my husband noticed...lol My biggest fear is not waking up from the surgery.... I'll take the sagging! Lol

It's crazy!! I don't know how I'm going to get thru this pre-op diet!! It's also making me nervous about my decision. If I am truly concerned about my weight/health then I should be more conscious of what I'm eating instead of eating everything that's not nailed down!! I have to lose 5lbs before surgery but I'm sure that with three weeks of protein shakes and dinner with lean protein and veggies I will lose it....I just pray that I can make it thru!! Of course, now I'm worried about everything.... Just had an echocardiogram and having the endoscopy tomorrow. Everything is happening so fast and my mind is racing. Good luck to us all

I have psych/NUT on Wednesday as well as the cardiologist. Tomorrow is the second part of my sleep study and I have an upper endoscopy on the 24th. Things are moving quickly and I'm starting to freak out. I change my mind about 100x a day! Anyone else feeling the same way?

As I run around to get all my clearances done before my surgery date 2/15, I begin to question everything. Anyone else feeling the same way? Maybe we can support each other... Have a great day and congrats!!

Hi, I was given my surgery date the other day and it seems like things are moving very fast and I'm starting to get nervous. I am 205lbs 5'3 and have a BMI of 36. I have moderate sleep apnea. At my heaviest I was 216 and with diet and exercise I lost almost 65lbs. I maintained a 50lb loss for almost 2yrs but in June I was involved in a serious car accident and have since gained about 50lbs. My concern is that I am taking drastic measures. I am afraid of dying and complications. I am afraid of never being able to enjoy eating again and I'm afraid that I won't be able to eat fruits and vegetables again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Also, glad to hear that you're able to include fruit in your diet...that was another one of my fears! Lol

Thanks for the advice! I really appreciate it! Hope you're doing well

Hi! Feb 15, 2014.... Nervous & excited at the same time!! Good luck to us all

Thank you all for your responses and good luck to you all! The reason why I'm so nervous is because things have progressed really quickly. I had six months of weight documentation because I've been seeing drs since my car accident in June. I also had the first part of my sleep study done and went into the office (after going to a seminar) with all that paperwork. The dr spoke with me and gave me a date in minutes. I am running around getting all the clearances and having second thoughts. I am 205 with a BMI of 36 but I have sleep apnea. I lost 65lbs with diet and exercise but after the car accident I've gained it all back. Just hoping that I am making the choice for myself. Thanks
