11.8 miles on the elliptical this morning! two tenths less than my last run, but still a good run. I am now more than half way to my goal weight!
-
Had a great run today on the elliptical! This was my baseline run for the summer: 11.6 miles in 64 minutes. I'm hoping to do at least one hour long run a week and one 45 minute run. I'm also hoping to actually start hitting the pavement soon.
-
hope you feel better soon.

9.21 miles in 49 minutes on the elliptical this morning! Only 5 more pounds till I start light running on pavement. I'm thinking I'll just add a day a week of pavement to my two days of elliptical each week. I will continue my two days a week of interval training on the Arc Trainer.

It's been a while since I posted last, but I have continued to work out 5 to 6 days a week. I'm up to 9 miles in 49 minutes on my friend the elliptical!!! I'll try to post more often.

Great morning run on the elliptical today! 8.35 miles in 49 minutes. Felt great!!

No gym today, but I did a lot of walking at Disney for a new part-time job. It was almost 90° today, much too hot for the long sleeve shirt I was wearing. Tomorrow I'll be doing much of the same. Back to the gym in my fun times with cardio Monday.
-
Weights this morning and a walk with the puppies this evening. My legs are still a little sore from yesterday's run. Back to the elliptical tomorrow. Go Knights (UCF); even though they didn't make it into March Madness.

8.1 miles in 49 minutes on my old friend the elliptical this morning!
-
7.9 miles in 49 minutes on the elliptical this morning. I've been to the gym every day this week.

Seven miles on the elliptical in 44 minutes, at level 3 instead of my normal level 1. Yay for Spring Break; I didn't need to wake up at 4:30 to get my morning gym time in.

Catfish, You are the Man!!! Congratulations on finishing the marathon! You continue to inspire me to get off my but and hit the gym most everyday. My goal is to attempt a half marathon next year, and a full marathon the following year. Until then, I will keep hitting the gym until I loose enough weight to start running for real. Once I get below 300 lbs. I plan to start training for a 5K, and move on from there.

Friday I ran 5.5 miles on the elliptical, but ate pizza for the first time since surgery. I thought for sure my weight was going to go up, so yesterday I didn't bother weighing. Yesterday I went to the gym and did 45 minutes of weights and then went to Disney to hang out with my dad. He surprised me with an early birthday present and bought me a pressure washer (no he didn't buy it at Disney), so after leaving Downtown Disney, I started playing with my new toy. I was able to pressure wash most of my pool deck (Burning lots of calories!). When I weighed myself last night I was down 3 pounds from my Friday morning weight! Yay power tool time!!!

Had my distance day at the gym this morning, I passed my goal of 5 1/2 miles on the elliptical! This morning's run was 5.52 miles and 33 minutes. Now I'm on to my next goal 5.75 miles in 33 minutes. On the days when I do not do distance runs, I am doing interval training on other cardio machines. My personal trainer seems to think this is a good idea. Oh, and I cannot forget; walked about a mile with the puppies this evening.

Had my second fill today, and got my official weight: 51 lbs. since my pre-op visit back on January 16!!! After my fill I went to workout with my personal trainer and got to learn some new things to try at my regular gym.

Impressive! You continue to amaze me. I should get my bike working again. The more types of exercise the less complacent I will become. As the weather warms up, I think the kayak will be my drug of choice.
-
Puppies must have been really happy with the beautiful weather today; we walked over a mile! Not bad for my 14 year-old corgi and 9 year-old Lab. I just got home from the gym; ended up doing Chest/Back and abs (I still have a keg, but one day I will have a six pack ). Now I only hope I am able to get to sleep soon, that 4:30 alarm is a horrible thing.

Did 5.29 miles on the elliptical this morning; had to go up and down the steps several times at work today; getting ready to take the puppies for a short walk by the lake; and then heading to the gym for some weights. Busy. busy day today! Tomorrow only one trip to the gym. Wednesday, cardio in the morning and a visit with the personal trainer (the bariatric doctor I went through provides 7 free sessions). :-)
-
No cardio today, it's my day off after six days of it in a row. Went to the gym and did weights today, chest and back, abs, and shoulders. They have a new machine at the gym, it's a rope climbing machine! Too much fun.
-
33 minutes on the elliptical this morning, a short walk with the puppies, and a half an hour of weights at the gym. Not a bad workout day, if I say so myself. :-)
-
Elliptical, you are my friend and my enemy! 5.03 miles in 33 minutes. Next goal, 5.5 miles in 33 minutes.
-
Just walked about a mile and a half at the lake next to my house with the puppies. Took the day off from the gym today, went six days this week; so I don't feel guilty. Tomorrow, I think I'll put my kayak in the lake if it isn't too windy or cold.

Went to the doctors office for my first fill today. After that I went to the gym that is provided through my doctors office. I have seven free sessions with a personal trainer, tonight was the first one. Ouch! He put me through hell. He liked that I am already doing a good bit in the gym. Now I just need to continue with the new things he's taught me and continue working.

Catfish, you continue to amaze me! I'm hoping to one day be able to match you.

Started the day in the gym, 40 minutes on the arc trainer. Walked a good bit at work, and came home and relaxed a bit. Just finished a short walk with the puppies; my 14-year-old dog decided she did not want to walk that much. Tomorrow is distant stay in the gym again. Saturday I did 5.02 miles and 33 minutes on the elliptical, I hope I can do about the same tomorrow.
