SparkleCat- several years ago a friend and myself decided to go to a huge Carnival party...while getting ready we literally covered ourselves in glitter! Glitter hairspray, Body Glitter, glitter make up....it was everywhere! When I got home, I was so exhausted (and, being honest, more than a little schmammered) I crawled directly into bed and slept like a log! I woke up the next day and the glitter covered everything! My sheets, my floor, my clothes and my jet black, long haired cat, Kisa! I texted my friend "oh my God! Kisa is covered in glitter! I have a SparkleKitty!" Since SparkleKitty could be construed as slightly risqué...I cleaned the phrase up for public forums...SparkleCat was born

Add me to the April 22nd club! I'm in Denver and just finished my last class and everything was submitted to insurance this morning. I keep moving through excitement, fear, hopefulness, panic and trepidation. A week ago all I would think was "I can't wait to live my life after my sleeve" now I can't even imagine how to process and get used to the changes I will be making. I'm looking forward to following all of our journeys and praying that I, like so many others on this site, will be starting a new and wonderful chapter in my life....just have to swim through my fear of the unknown first -
I know My surgeons office has them (Dr Thomas Brown at St Luke's...I believe anyone can attend

How are you wonderful Denver women doing? I have been officially scheduled for surgery on April 28th....which means my last hurrah is going to be at The Rockies home opener I really am looking forward to spending the summer slimming down, biking, hiking and enjoying this great city with a little more confidence. Would live to hear updates from Denver post-ops -
I feel ya! I am also excited, nervous and scared...I have moments when I wonder if I am making the right decision, but they are becoming less. As of yesterday, all of us are about a month away from completely changing our lives...most for the better. Let the emotional roller coaster begin!

I had a breast reduction a little over 10 years ago....one of my better decisions! While I haven't been sleeved yet. From what I have read here, breast reduction recovery was easy. My sister had augmentation and was in much more pain than I was...probably because they cut through and stretch muscle tissue. If you can get wls, you can definitely handle a reduction! -
