Hi my name Marta

I had my surgery on October 29, 2013. I have struggled with my weight for about 20 years. I have lost about 50 pounds twice but after a year or two gained it all back plus a few more. I'm also hypothyroid, which doesn't help! I thought about the surgery for over a year but was afraid. A year ago my daughter gave birth to my grandson, he is the main reason I decided to do this. I want to be active and mobile as he grows and at the rate I was going I was scared I wasn't going to be. I'm joining this sight because it helps being able to see what others are going through as well. It's hard for family to understand what you're going through but everyone on here does. I am very happy with the surgery. I'm recovering well and have not had any major issues. The hardest part for me is making sure I get all my water in.
