Hi, I was sleeved on Monday, April 21, 2014. I'm having pain when taking deep breaths. Its really freaking me out. Should I be worried? I have talked to friends who have undergone this surgery and they tell me they have not experience this at all. Can anyone provide some advise??

I called the insurance today and found out my case is with the Medical Director is that good or bad? I thought it was reviewed by the Medical nurse and he/she would make the decision. Is this a bad sign?

My anxiety is through the roof waiting for a decision. My paperwork was submitted to Aetna on 3/11/2014. To date I have not heard anything. I have called the insurance twice. I spoke with a customer representative who informed me it is pending and it can take up to 30 days. I have heard and read so much conflicting information on how long it takes. Does anyone have Aetna (NJ) and how long did it take for a decision to be made??
