I'm thinking finally having a period is helping me along. I've got some true poop rumblies going on in my abdominal area. I'm hoping for some poops when I get home from school. I love that we're all in in the same situation and cam talk about poop!

Bahahahaha. Yes! Every time. Every time I think I gotta go, it's just farts. Heh. I was going to take some more yesterday, but I have class all day today. No class tomorrow, so I'll take some later today. And maybe a dulcolax. Haha.

Although. I could use a good poop. It's been since last monday... hah. M.O.M. didn't work for me this time. Took it Saturday before I went to bed. Nothin yet. Which sucks, cause that stuff tastes horrible!

Yes. I'm anxious to go to bed to see if I can get more than one hour of sleep at a time. I'm so happy. I can leave it on for 12 hours and then have to wait another 12 hours to put another one on. It'll be interesting to see how the 12 hours between will go.

Ok. So I've had a lidoderm patch on for about 2.5 hours. I think they might actually work. So far I've been able to get up off the couch with almost no pain! The first time since surgery. These things might be worth $176. Haha. Disregard my pity party earlier.

I'll be 6 weeks out on Wednesday, and I've still got pain in my lower left incision.

Right! The dude was irritated I asked to obly get a couple. Listen dude..... haha

Yeah. I went to walgreens and only got 2 patches for $23. They are kinda big so I could probably cut em in half or even quarters. But yeah. Damn! I've heard of that! I feel like I've read that they just need to work en self out?? They hurt? That'd freak me out. Haha

Nope. "It's normal but you can try these patches". For $176. Wah wah wah.

So, those patches..... $176 for 20 of them. What. The. Fu€k.. I'm just going to sit here and cry. Hahaha. Or laugh. Or both. Lolz.

Bariatric fusion has a chewy one. I can't have gummies until I'm 3 months out.

Thanks! I'm hoping these psych things will help. It's a numbing pain patch. But I have to cut them, and figure out exactly where to put it. I just want a fukking pill I can take that will give me some peace already. The liquid lortab does nothing. Hahahhaa. I'll just call whine one one. Bahahahhaha

I know! I asked my pcp for a muscle relaxer. Cause it feels like a sheet of tight ass muscles in the area of the incision. Her reply was heat. Been doing that since I ripped the shit apart a week out! But they are adamant it's normal. They caked in some patch thing... We'll see. I'd just like to sleep and bend over, or drive with some ease.

Yeah, I have a pillow on each side of me in bed. Lol. I got a call back. They're gonna call me in some patch thing. We'll see if It helps. But apparently they can be expensive and bot covered If i don't have shingles (which I dont) so yeah.

I'm so frustrated. My left incision still hurts. Like, I don't sleep much (cause I can't sleep on my back and it hurts too much to lay on my sides) I can't bend over to put my running shoes on without being in level 10 pain. I can't sit comfortably in my car to drive. Sometimes the way I'm sitting and then having to turn the wheel is level 10 pain. And moving around sometimes or getting up or sitting down is painful. I've asked my docs office about it every time I've gone in. They all tell me it's normal. I take pain meds before bed bed and they don't do sh!t. Tylenol is worthless. I'm scared to take ibuprofen. I just called the nurse like at my surgeons office and she's like yeah, it's normal. Ok, I get it. But it's interfering with living everyday life. She's going to talk to the PA, but dammit. I'm not a pill popper, but at this point there has got to be something I can take that will take the edge off this ripping pain so I can at least sleep. I just want to cry because I'm so frustrated. I tried my pcp, but she said to use heat. Yeah, been doing that for 6 weeks, thanks. Uggggg. I just want sleep. And to drive without fear I'm going to cause an accident because the pain is so bad sometime when I have to turn. Haha.

I'm so sorry! I was worried that the bff that's starting the process this week and I would grow apart. She loves to eat and eats far too much all too often. I'm hoping she's ready for this... i do fear if for some reason she doesn't follow through with this, that our friendship will suffer. Her life revolves around food, and since surgery, mine hasn't. And as in lose wight and can do more active things and she cant.....

Yeah. Did you have an open procedure? I just had 5 incisions, pretty small, but the one on the left side is where they pulled my stomach out, so it's bigger than the one rest and hurts. I broke my pinky toe one summer. Worst pain. Mostly because it would finally be "ok" and I'd stub It all over again. Worst summer. Haha. And yeah. I'm a side sleeper. sleeping on my back is terrible and I find I'll only sleep for maybe a couple hours in that position. It's hit or miss (mostly miss lately) on if I can at least sleep on my right side. Lately my sleep has been terrible. And yes. I totally got a yeast Infection after surgery. Luckily it wasn't itchy... but I had to go through 2 rounds of the antibiotics they give for it. And I'm not a nurse yet. Someday! still in school for it:) but luckily I have have a few nurse friends and friends that are almost done with the nursing program at school.

I'm sorry you're sick! At least you're getting in some fluids though. I just went back to popsicles, as I have a hard time getting my fluids in. I didn't have any staples in my incisions. But at 5.5 weeks out my biggest incision on the left still hurts. I can't vend over very far, if I move in certain ways it feels like things are ripping apart, I have a hard time sleeping comfortably in bed. My surgeon has told me all of this is normal, and I could have pain there for up to 6 months. Uggggg. Its making it difficult to work out, as it hurts to even put socks on, let alone tie my running shoes! If only I could workout in flip flips.... Hahaha My doc has said to take my pain meds if needed. I have the last couple nights at bed time. Hasn't helped a bunch, but does help a little. I'm actually thinking of asking my doc for a muscle relaxer. Cause I need to workout, and if I can barely bend over, its not going to be very effective. I feel like the "ripping" feeling is from the muscles being too tight. We'll see.

Seriously. That's awesome! It is like me and my bestie. I know for me its nice to have someone who is enough ahead of me in this whole thing, to guide me, give me food suggestions, etc. And I imagine its nice for her to have someone that is going through what she is/has. And my other bff is starting the process. She has her psych eval Thursday. She's my real partner in crime (my bff that's had it lives an hour and a half away) and she's always been big. I want her to experience what I am. The happiness of seeing the pounds come off. The pants getting smaller. The overall just feeling GOOD. About life and yourself. Yay to us, and our future bffs that will join us!

Guys! So, another nsv! I tried on a pair of size 20 Calvin Klein jeans I bought 5 years ago that never really fit that awesome when I bought em. THEY FIT ME PERFECTLY NOW! So I went from a 28-30 to a 20 in 5.5 weeks! Holy sh!t. I can't even believe it. They're in the wash now (they were in my closet and I'm not even sure I washed em after the last time I wore them) and I'll post a before and today pic when they're dry. I'M SO EXCITED!

Definitely. I also think it had a lot to do with what we ate. Because I started feeling cooler while on my 2 week pre op diet. But especially those first couple weeks after surgery, or bodies are all sorts of confused. I'm sure the flashes will stop soon. I hope they do for you! I'm actually happy I'm cold all the time. Maybe I can save on my electric bill this summer for once!
