Hello,

My name is Melody, (Mel) to my firends and co-workers. I have struggled with weight gain and loss since graduating High School. I was very athletic, played 3 sports year round and was very active. After graduating, the sports stopped and I got a job. I played on a softball league and tore my ACL. This put me down and out for several months, and the weight started packing on. I found that the heavier I was the less motivated I was. I would refocus, get into the gym and would loose significant weight, only to regain it with addtinal pounds. I have had three knee surgeries on the same knee, and ultimately need a total knee replacement. I felt this was the time to once and for all get in control of my life, my weight and my health.
