I didn't have any headaches but I think it's because I stopped sugar carbs and caffeine 3-4 weeks before the liquid diet. My daughter didn't stop before she started but she did experience a headache on days 3 & 4. Afterwards she's been good. She suffers from migraines and cranial pressure.

I fell in love with Chike it was my favorite but right now no protein powder taste good to me. I will say the carnation sf breakfast drink is tasty with light plain soy milk. Congrats on ur loss. I just ordered some Chike to try. Never heard of it before, but I'm trying to get some single servings of various kinds to see what I like. So far I have Unjury. My 2 week liquid diet starts on the 16th. Yikes!!U will do great on ur liquid diet. Best advice is to follow ur instructions mines said protein shake or something from approved list every 3 hours and today I got slammed at work and missed those increments now I'm siting at my bar in my kitchen starving and frustrated. After day 3 I was totally fine no hunger at all but I'm sure it's because I didn't follow directions and eat every 3 hours like I'm supposed to.

It was rescheduled for Friday. Not too long of a wait! Whew not too bad thank goodness it wasn't longer. Hang in there.

I'm on Monday too pain management is one of my biggest fears. I'm at noon my daughter at 10am. Wishing u much success on ur big day.

Also my surgeon office is scheduling a month out some surgeons offices don't have such a wait once ur approved.

What's required vary depending on ur insurance company. I have UHC and they required a 6 month supervised diet in the Healthy Weight program, BMI of 40 or 35 with co-morbidities, psych eval, recommendation letter from PCP, weight documented at physician office in the beginning and at the end. I was approved in 3 days once my surgeon office submitted my info and my surgery date was already scheduled before I actually got approved.

Eppa I don't have Fib but have other heart related issue. I will be praying for u. When's ur surgery date? Did u have clearance for surgery by ur cardiologist?

I wish I had that problem I haven't gone hardly at all since I started and today's day 9 of the liquid diet for me.

Good advice and wishing u success on ur WLS journey. I will be sleeved Monday and my emotions and jitters r right there where urs r. I just told my hubby last evening now I'm second guessing myself but up until yesterday I was 200% sure I made the right decision with a clear head and after tons of research. With that said I'm putting my trust in God and moving ahead full steam believing me and my daughter will come through this like champs.

Glad everything went well. Have u had ur swallow test and been able to drink yet and if so how did that go?
