Hey Kelly. So how was it right after surgery how did u feel and how r u doing now? I laughed bout ur hubby and the steak because I have a strict rule since our daughter and myself can't eat from being on this liquid diet then no eating cooking or bringing foods in this house until this part is over. My husband and son are about to lose their minds as they LITTERALLY eaten out everyday since we started. I know it sounds harsh but the temptation or to only be able to drink liquids while the others are chomping down on regular food is just too much to ask. Lol. Monday will not come fast enough Thank u girl. Big day in 3 days yayyyyyyyy....I'm down 14lbs as of this morning From the start of preop liquid diet.

Today I find myself missing food so much. Not even bad food or a lot if food just food in general. wondering when will I be able to sink my teeth into a piece of grilled chicken and spinach????

This is down right brutal at this point. I still have 5 more days to go on the liquid diet and I feel drained and for some reason I'm hungry. Hunger hasn't been an issue since like day 3 I mean I've missed food but haven't been hungry since day 3 but tonight I'm ravenously hungry. Can anyone throw out some liquid diet ideas maybe u have had something i haven't that I may can try??

When u added the carbs back in did it slow ur weight loss??

Linda I love those thoughts and omg saucer filled with some salad and chicken salad sound succulent right now as I'm sitting having my preop. I want some RIGHT NOWWWWW lol. Yes tanning by the pool with some crystal light and that saucer of food is like heaven right now.

How did ur preop appt go? Mines is in the morning.

I cut out sugary foods simple carbs and caffeine and I didn't have a headache or go through withdrawals thank god but my daughter on the other hand continued having her Starbucks right up until the day before and she paid royally with nasty caffeine withdrawal. Good job on stopping those things in advance I think it makes a world if a difference in terms of withdrawal symptoms at least for me it did anyway.

Well happy bday to her. It seems like yesterday our kids were chasing each other around the yard now they are all young adults. It's a happy but sad time. The girls are in college and our son shipping off to Airforce BMT in the next month and a half.
