Hello fellow pre-post sleevers,

My name is Rachael, originally of Los Angeles, CA and now living in Waterbury, CT. I have had a weight issue since I can remember. And unfortunately I have come to the point where my weight issues are taking away from my quality of life. This is true in so many ways: Physically, emotionally and spiritually. I dont have the energy I need to be as active a member of society as I need to be. My home is not kept up as it needs to be because I have low energy. My daughter and husband dont have the proper wife and mom they need because I physically and often emotionally cant be there as I wish. Socially, I am constantly judging myself and walking around with a low self confidence - which in tern makes keeping up with friendships difficult.

I have mad an official decision to take my life into my own hands and make changes. I have tried for years to do it on my own and I have yet to be successful. So it is my hope that through this journey of weight loss surgery, in particular the sleeve, that my quality of life will just increase and increase.

I am of the nature who needs friends and support - so if you can relate to me at all - lets do this!

I still needs lots of help making decisions and learning how to go about this journey!
