Dont give up
Christian Zaccone replied to donaboss's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
PLEASE PLEASE stop eating Potatoes!! SO SO SO NO NO NO.. 4 oz is way to much potatoes,,. Your total intake should be 4-6 ounces,, Dont give up on this. Potatoes expand as they go down .. You wont be able to fit anything else.. ,,, Keep going. Its not a race. The idea is to sustain the loss. stalls happen typically month3 and month 6 they they do fluctuate and last 2-4 weeks.. The way to break the stall is workout a little more and Protein.. I wish you the best Chris -

Restriction - vets please answer
Christian Zaccone replied to luckysmomma's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
HMMM.. Only thing I can say on that is my surgeon said to me at the beginning.. " Im providing you with a tool to fix the problem.. What you do with this tool is totally up to you" basically warning me lifestyle change and it can come back if you let it. So i thnk you have to get on a mindset that is not instant magic and its up to you and your support staff. I wish you the best of luck with this.. Im only 7 months out but i have lost total close to 200lbs in 9 or so months. Please try and take on that mindset of it being a tool but its up to you no matter what Chris -
APPLE JUICE! HUGE NO NO FOR ME>
Christian Zaccone posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Found that one out the wrong way. To much sugar obviously. Even the low sugar one. At the gym they make a PB&J Protein shake. Which is a chocolate shake with a scoop of Peanut Butter in it a few strawberries and 12 ounces apple juice!! It destroyed me for about an hour!! OK never again...... -

Day 2 of liquids and Im hungry
Christian Zaccone replied to Zoumommy's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
WOW.. Im actually surprised your hungary.. Jello was my big thing the first few days.. WALK WALK WALK and REST REST REST>>> That may help you pass the time. Its odd though I was never ever hungary and still 7 to 8 months later never have the feeling of hunger. They say that goes with the Gastric Sleeve. Just saying what i was told by several people. Chris -
Truly. Nothing to debate $4000.00 to live for your kids and your husband.. Thats the main focus. You are supported 100% on this board.. I was at 415lbs and now down to 220lbs in 8 months,, my results are not typical but im telling you it saved my life and will save yours also,, I wish you the best and I am here for anyone.. Christian

My surgeon said to me " IM GIVING YOU THE TOOL WHAT YOU DO WITH THE TOOL IS UP TO YOU!!".. Is it really worth not doing it right? Christian.. All comments made to help you think -

"No drinking 30 mins before/after eating" - probably a silly question
Christian Zaccone replied to kwoo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have found it very easy to stay within the rule set for me. no drinking 15 min before eating and 1 hour after. Once you start doing it it becomes second nature. Its odd when you goto restraunt and you say no drink.. Most times they say not even water>? I say no thank you i dont drink while i eat.. Thats all. Another bit if advice is when you go out to eat get a "DOGGIE BAG" right up front and when food comes just put half in the box.. I know it sounds silly but it helps. I get KIDS MEALS also and a kids meal is like 2 meals. Chris -
I was sleeved about 7 months ago. Started program in April of 2013.. Down over 190lbs. The only pain i have is the ammount of Vitamins i take a day twice a day.. I recently was told about an all in one Vitamin called BARIATRIC FUSHION.. Its only $25 per bottle and it takes care of everything.. You take 1 3xs per day. Thats it. I would recommend people checking it out. Hope all are doing well.. Christian
