My story is not really my story , but my wife's story. My wife had surgery on 12/30/13 , and it not only changed her life , but mine as well. As being her partner in life really became more of a reality than it had been before. So I joined bariatric pal to tell her story but from the spouse side, as I'm sure there are other spouses out there who also are going through it. I believe its important to be a team in order to succeed . So she is on her first week of liquids and doing fantastic. Walking on the treadmill doing her breathing exercises and healing really well. She truly is an inspiration and I'm honored to be part of her journey . I will keep you posted on her recovery as for its too fresh for all other updates. Keep on folks just stay focused and it'll come together.
