5 days post op. Is this full?

Hope today feels better! I didn't think about the pepcid and gasX ( I got the chewable ones) either. My surgeons nurse recommended that I try it. She said in healing the stomach can produce more gases along with the acid. It was so very helpful for me. I didn't get full relief until I took them both. For me it was exactly what was needed. I have not needed them for 3 days now. I have not had a stuck feeling at all. I was not instructed to puree food, just chew, chew, chew. I feel fortunate at how well it has gone. I also had my gallbladder removed so I will get it all figured out soon lol. I am sure with a few more days of healing it will get better ) Have a great day

5 days post op. Is this full?

Hi, I am 9 days post op. I to get a similar sensation when full, or what I am learning is full. Also I had a lot of uncomfortable pressure into a low pain all through my first week associated with eating. I was unable to release gas. Every time I began to eat it would build quickly. I began to take 1 pepcid every 12 hours and 2-3 gasX throughout the day and it helped so much. I was able to finally eat with out discomfort! Now I do not need it. Keep up the great work and hang in there. We are on a similar time line in this new journey. Would be great to stay in touch.

    Debating sugery

Hi, first and for most Thank you for your service! I am 35 and am 8 days post op. I think that doing this at your age is a plus because you stop weight from holding you back from enjoying the rest of your life. Healing and recovery is a bit easier when you are younger from what I have been told by other sleeve patients. I am doing so well, surprised at the quickness of my recovery. I only needed pain meds for 4 days. Not very sore, and adding foods back in every day. As the weight comes off just imagine how much easier it will be to move, be active and have fun. It is a big decision ,not one to be taken lightly. For me I was not willing to waist another day! Best of luck to you
