Hey guys do any of you have to take a shot for 14 days called lovanox or something like that lol

Hi my wonderful beautiful people,, Thank you for all the kind words; they truly help me stay positive. So pain has subsided immensely!! I had my 1 week post op appointment and everything went great. HW 340 SW 317 CW 301 GW 160-170 I'm so happy and ready to eat some eggs, lol! So my first recipe for you guys is Salmon Croquettes; my nut said we can't eat this until our 4th week out but I'm anxiously waiting to share. 2-8oz cans of salmon (cleaned of skin, fats, and bones 1/4 cup fresh spinach chopped 1/2 red pepper chopped finely 1/2 green pepper " " 1/2 yellow pepper " " 1/2 onion " " 2 small banana peppers "" 1 whole egg Garlic, salt, and pepper seasoning to taste 2 tablespoons of Choloula hot sauce Bread crumbs I can't believe it's not butter spray In a large bowl mix the salmon and seasonings together. In a skillet spray the can with one squirt of I can't believe it's not butter and add all the peppers, onions, spinach and sauté until tender. Once tender add vegetables to the salmon mix. Add the egg, hot sauce, and bread crumbs ( as desired) and begin to mix the mixture with hands or a spoon until it is completely mixed. Make patties ( it should be enough bread crumbs in mix to hold the patties together). The same skillet you used for your veggies squirt a couple of sprays of butter and add your patties to the skillet. Cool until golden brown on both sides. If you prefer to bake them; put them in the oven at 375 degrees and bake for 10-12 mins on each side!! Bona petite!!!! Let me know what you think!!!

Hiatal hernia and pending gastric bypass surgery
janieitstime replied to pamie40's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey beautiful, yes absolutely half of us due. I didn't find out I had one until a week before my surgery and I had surgery 2/11. The doc said a lot of people get them from eating late and going right to sleep; so the food just sits there. My doc did laparoscopic and repaired my hernia at the same time. I wish you many blessings and everything will be fine!! -

You are truly an inspiration!!! I just found your thread and read all five pages and your so motivating and encouraging!! I had my surgery on the 11th and the first couple of days I was crying and screaming "WHAT IN THE HELL DID I DO TO MYSELF"! See I'm allergic to most pain meds so I'm in pain all day everyday and I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy!! Going through your thread gave me a burst of "I CAN DO THIS"!! Thank you for sharing and I am so looking forward to reading more and eventually seeing your pics!!! Congratulations brother -
Hey everyone, Had my surgery Tuesday. Everything went well; I'm in a lot of pain due to the fact I'm allergic to codeine. Walked around a lot yesterday after they removed my foily and drain. Now I'm just trying to deal with the pain. I haven't had that much sleep. Staying positive!!! Check back in in a few days.

Makes a lot of sense!! If you are seriously considering it; go for it! Just research a bariatric doctor in your area and they will give you the best advise.

Welcome welcome welcome..... Like sugarfree stated you are in the right place. This the best support system you can have. Talk with a Dr. and see what they recommend. My family wasn't supportive at first because I am a very healthy at the time 335lb woman and they thought I would be ok. Of course their all skinny, LOL. I had to sit them all down and explain my struggle and why I truly chose this. Just a suggestion and I wish you many blessings on whatever you chose!!!

Hey guys, it's been a minute since I commented. I have been struggling with this liquid diet!!! Feels like I'm dying of a slow death!! LOL he had me do a 2 week protein shakes and one meal diet. Since Monday I have been on pure protein with water and water only diet. It is a struggle. I'm cranky, irritated, mean, depressed and then all of a sudden I feel better. Such an emotional roller coaster, but I lost 20lbs thus far. Tuesday is my day and I am so excited to be able to have chicken broth!! Lolbvs anyone else have any issues with this liquid diet crap???? I know its necessary and trying to stay positive thru it all!! I just needed to vent!!
