    Its more than a stall

I had a 5 week stall! It is hard to see the scales stop, but it will change!

    Did I eat too much?

Don't stress.Just measure your food and talk to your NUT/surgeon if you're worried. I am nearly 3 months post op and second myself alllllll the time - I always compare what I eat to Instagram posts, lol, and it's just a waste of time. We are all different!

    3 months Post-Op

You have all done GREAT! I am around 11 weeks post op and am down 41 pounds or so, and I am SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!! I am beyond stoked.

    Gained weight

My scales go up and down all the time. I stall, I gain, I lose etc. Day 10 is super early, so don't even bother with weighing. You will be fine!

Can I have bread and if not why?

My nut actually pushed me to eat bread (as toast) for breakfast and has no qualms about it. The reason being is if I eat anything runny or mushy, especially liquids or yoghurt, I get SO sick!! It goes straight through me, so she said do some toast. I never eat the whole piece but it's just adds substance and I tolerate food that way.
  6. Gosh, I love nothing better than eating a banana....some people on here really demonise foods that aren't quite chicken or cottage cheese. I love to mix banana with egg to cook Protein pancakes, or even smoothies! If you're posting about pizza, take away and ice cream, OK, you might get some nasty responses....but a banana!? Sheeshhhhh people. Leave the poor gal alone!

Can I have bread and if not why?

I usually do egg with toast - and it goes down Ok. Wraps are also fine for me! I was never told to keep away from bread....and I eat grainy or wholemeal pieces, not white.

    No weight loss yet

If you search up posts like this, you will see that due to being so fresh out of surgery, your body is full of fluids, has gone through a huge shock, and you are definitely at the time where you need to rest and just let your body do its thing. Don't be so hard on yourself, you will lose!

    What's on your plate?

Awesome! Some people are so super strict - I wish I was. I am not slacking off, but I certainly can't stomach a lot of protein, and cottage cheese, ughh!

    What's on your plate?

Thanks again!! I try to log calories but because I sometimes can't finish food, or my restriction is more/less some days, I find that I don't think the calories I log are very accurate! I know I will get used to it all as time goes on.

    Have i really lost weight?

If you take photos, measurements and also keep tabs on how clothes feel, I think you'll really find a difference. I can tell my face and shoulders are losing the majority of the weight, as I am only 7 weeks post op, and I can't wait til it reaches my tummy area!!

    Starving!

I am a revision patient too - I promise it gets better and it really does feel SO good after those first couple of weeks. Hang in there!

    What's on your plate?

Thanks guys - some great ideas there. I am really noticing my sweet tooth emerging after dinner, so it's something I am struggling with this week. Ugh! But I really do need to up my protein. So hard!!
