This has been going on for the second day today...... discomfort after eating and drinking and feeling the need to spit up while asleep sitting up and out it comes.... anyone ever experience this?

So I went to my doctor an hour and a half away from home for my second fill...well so I thought....I laid down and no go could not enter the port with the needle ... after TWELVE attempts by three different staff members(and lots of brusinf swelling and pain now) I was sent down to radiology(my doc is in the same building as hospital) and I had about 6 different xrays done to be told my port had flipped.....eeeeeeeerrrrrrr!!!! gotta go back and have my port area opened flip the port and close me up again....6 more weeks of no lifting....good news in 10 weeks I've lost 38lbs but oh how I don't want to go in again and start with post op restrictions again ......HELP!!!!!!!

Is it a normal accordance that I'm now one day short of my fill of1cc(so now I'm 5ccs) and I am still only on liquids and very very littlest that....I am burping much more than usual.... i am losing about a pound a day ....have an appointment in a week to check my incision from my port flip...... any opinions?

I'm 3months original post op...... one week since reopening port incision..... is that considered post op enough for the swelling to still be an issue?

Honey, that means u need a fill...... nothing to be embarrassed of ....it takes time for you and ur band to get acclimated.... go with ur head up high... get a fill and u will move forward inure journey... good luck

Very normal, I had it for a few weeks.its from the gases they put in ur stomach to better aces it.... no painkillers work for it just walk walk walk a.good luck to you!

So two weeks ago I told you all about my flipped port< was told by dr office its "no big deal to fix" Well first let me tell you, im in more pain from the incision than I was with the initial surgery secondly I felt like there was no9 clinical support from the practice.....I think cause it was kind of their screw up they want to sweep it under the rug ... I think I should have been treated like a queen and spoken to people from the group (maybe a doc???)pre and post going into surgery..... no big deal to them but huge deal to me.... they did a 1 cc fill while in there and I feel more restricted then ever... im now 5 and can barely eat not sure if its still swelling from being open, but that is the port are or if this is normal....any ideas???

surgery was Monday afternoon /evening Tues I has 8oz muscle milk 4 oz chicken Soup wed I had 5oz tomato soup and 3oz muscle milk and today I had 3oz coffe (thought something warm would help) 4 oz muscle milk so far

Just got out of the recovery room, hade local anesthia and sedation I feel gross all burp and in pain hope this nightmare ends soon
