Oh great! Im leaning more towards the sleeve per my research and preferences and am glad to know that there is wiggle room in that regard

I know that having ulcers can reduce your chance of getting a sleeve but can anyone be a little more specific with their first hand experiences?

Haha we don't really have easier assignments and you can't go on light duty unless its a work related injury but the place I work now is much better than the last. The last place I worked I worked my entire pregnancy up till maternity leave on a lock down unit.. and that was rough.. -
I just went to my obgyn this am and she brought it up, I will definitely try to use that to help my case thank you for sharing that!

How easy was it for you both to breach the wls topic with your Dr.? Were they supportive or did they think it was the "easy way"? How long did you have to talk about it before it became a possibility? -

My insurance says yes.. but im in the middle of tests and may have more than a few comorbilitys and that combined with my bmi may let me bypass it. Im in the early stages of this process just getting my questions in lol -

Mine says that it covers 50% coinsurance after deductible is met. -

I work in a long term care home and they approve two person transfers. If a resident is having a bad day I could be lifting a 140-190 lb person with one other cna. Usually they only allow residents that can support most of their own weight to be a two person transfer but anyone in the medical field knows that if u add a combative person in the mix its like lifting someone 3x larger. -
