I found it out the hard way also, i have gained 30 lbs, and i am now crazed.to take it off I have started the 5 day pouch diet today and i am doing ok . Just working through the process for the rest of the week. I am afraid of failure, but i realize i still have a little pouch waiting to get back on track, -

You have to believe and not give up. The weight you are is a disease and when you have the surgery you'll start feeling wonderful watching the weight fall off. You'll be able to move better, sleep better- its glorious. the one thing no one tells you is that there is a process we all go though which happens after the weight loss= where we get a little sloppy with the diet and for a while we don't see any consequences. The diet plan has to be relived call the Five Day Pouch Diet, just google it, It is something to know about before you get the surgery the surgeon doesn't mention this so go take a it will be a good process for you. I had the surgery 2 years ago and i am starting the five day pouch i am in the second day. Its all worth the processes. go forward and don't get discouraged. Look forward to hearing when you have had the surgery.

Hi Sherry my name is Kathy, i has the gastric bypass two years ago and in the past 3 months have started to put weigh back on, i have gotten seriously worried, and I am starting on the Pouch Test diet which brings me back to the original diet, liquid for two days then Protein Did the doctor on banana and Peanut Butter.that sounds like a hi calorie food check with him. take a look at the 5 day pouch diet, and you will start to lose again -

I am surprised you don't feel full, stay away from fattening foods like cream soup. When you begin to feel full it will probably be when you have eaten too much and then there is a system that is called the dumping system, you want to avoid this. I had the surgery two years ago, and lost 100 pounds recently I have gained weigh, and i am lookking for a group or chat room where i can hear if others have had this happen, also i want to hear about the diet again. do you have the diet?
