  4. Hello Kittee

    I'm STUCK!

Had the band done in Sept./07 and have lost 102 pounds so far with 29 left to go. YAY!! But I'm S T U C K at 168lbs and have been for about 6-8 weeks. Maybe a very small fill but I'm not eating much at all now. I get a good amount of exercise being in retail selling as a job and also go to the gym. Is there any food that promotes weight loss??? Asparagus? Watermelon? I need all the tips I can get to lose these last few pounds.
  5. Hi everyone, I hope this encourage everyone and give people that extra push to make their goals. I've lost about 85 pounds since Sept. 2007, 7 months! I started at 269 and am down to 184!!! Almost into a size 12!! I feel great and just went back to work about 7 weeks ago to help keep me active and moving to lose a bit more weight. I know I will need a tummy tuck, 5 kids and few c-sections plus the weight have taken a toll, ya know. But now my dilema: how far from my goal weight should I begin looking into a tummy tuck AND what should my goal weight be?? I'm 5 feet 5 inches tall...at my thinnest size 6 or 7 I weighed 135....but I don't know if the old body will ever be that thin again... I'm about 50 yrs old but people think and insist I don't look a day over 33!! All that fat kept me young under it, huh? hehehe So should I go for hitting 135 or just be happy at 160???? I've been tanning myself too and it has helped firm up my skin and give me a beautiful tanned glow I've never ever had. Any advice is very much appreciated here.... has anyone tried lipodissolve on tummy fat???? or arm fat????

    Loosing my hair

Since I've lost 53 pounds my hair STOPPED falling out. I don't know why, but I am so happy it did. I think hormones played a large part. I also started getting B12 shots and boy has my energy level popped up! I highly recommend this!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Hi, hadn't checked in in bit and wanted to give an update. Had surgery in the first week of Sept. 2007 and have so far lost 53 pounds!! My hubbs also had the surgery a week later and he has lost 59 pounds!! Another 11 pounds for me and I'm at the half-way mark!! 5 more pounds for hubby to reach his half-way point. Best decision we ever made, besides getting married. I hope this encourages others to get off the fence and take their own destiny into their hands as it did us. We wanted many more years together and it certainly looks like we'll get out wish. Happy Holidays to everyone.

    Should I Have Another Fill?

Get a fill. Better than gaining back.
  13. Hello Kittee

    Holding back the beast!

Ok was banded 3 weeks ago and I have been hungry for the last week and a half. I asked the doctor for a fill and tried to explain but he is making me wait 6 weeks. I'm holding back the food beast but it's hard. I was in tears a few days ago. What is the normal time wait for a first fill? I was told 4 weeks but then it was pushed back to 6. I think he's looking at the fact I lost 24 pounds. But I've been following the diet to THE LETTER. And exercising at a gym. Feels like I'm being punished for being successful.:cry:cry
  14. I was approved 8/28 and had surgery on 9/10! You should call your insurance company and keep a close eye on WHEN you get the approval so to get a jump on doing the things that must be done prior to surgery!
