  1. Congrats! ! Celebrate every milestone. I fit 14s for the first time in a very long time. So long I can't even remember.

    Nothing bothers me!

The only thing that has bothered me was broccoli. It made me feel really uncomfortable and nauseous. I love the fact that my sweet tooth is gone and I no longer think about food constantly. It has lost its allure.

    socal Newbie here

I was sleeved on Dec 17, 2013 at Kaiser with Dr Zane. Did my options class during the summer and waited till Christmas break for surgery. Yep, you guessed it. . . I am a teacher. I lost over my 10% before surgery and I am down nearly 50 lbs post surgery. I feel so good and I love how I look in my clothes. I can't explain the thrill of shopping for clothes that I actually like. I started at a size 22 and I buttoned a pair of 14 denim shorts yesterday. I haven't had any complications except for nausea the first few days. I am going to seriously celebrate when I drop below 200 lbs. Can't wait. Looking for workout buddies in the Orange county area.

kicked off of a fair ride....

I am a teacher and I took my students to an amusement park to learn about physics. I tried to get on first ride but wouldn't fit. I jumped off before my students noticed but that was the last ride I attempted that day. That was my moment that I decided I was done with being fat. I don't want my weight to limit what I can do in this life. I was sleeved on Dec 17th and I've lost 40 lbs so far. A few weeks ago I went back to the same amusement park with my students and I rode EVERYTHING! It was exhilarating and very rewarding.
