suffering from hiccups
NoleGirl98 replied to adavis77's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I describe my hiccups as the fake-drunk-bad-acting hiccups. They are so loud and go for a long time, if I eat too much. My four year old thinks it is hilarious but my 11 year old pretends not to know me. -

Thursday Fun--Does your sleeve have a nickname?

I call mine Wubzy because it's what I think it looks like. Also my sleeve is a boy but I am a girl so I often refer to 'him'. -

I bought a stair climber to start getting in some movement. It was cheap, moveable, and didn't have me freezing my tush off outside. When I am on it both my knees sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies Cereal, snapping, cracking and popping. It doesn't hurt just sounds horrible. Am I doing more damage to my knees by using the stair climber?

Thank you. Yes I am cleared for all foods. My dr is more aggressive than most and was cleared for solids on week 3. I also take Prilosec everyday because I read on here that could cause the hunger. Been doing that since before surgery.

I was sleeved two months ago and I honestly get hungry. I have head hunger too but this is belly-empty hunger, though no where near pre-sleeve hunger levels. My question is if I have hunger now will it get worse once the honeymoon (6 months) is over? I am hoping that this is my normal hunger level.

Critique my daily diet
NoleGirl98 replied to sleevethefatbehind's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am Type-A as well and it drove me nuts to have to guess. MFP has a HUGE database. Most of the time I eat out and customize the dish and generally someone in mfp has already calculated the stats with the customization (no bread, etc). -
Thanks everyone. I might try the freezer trick with all the brands mentioned.

I have this weird texture issue thing where I can't even look at the Water that forms at the top of sour cream (gagging just thinking about it). The Greek yogurts I have bought have all had this same water substance on top. Does anyone know of a brand that doesn't separate like this?

Shrimp was the first thing I ate when I could have 'real' foods. It is still the easiest thing for me to eat.

I no longer have a food section. Does anyone know where it went? -

I use a toddler fork so I take small bites. Then I put the fork down between bites and pick up my phone. Normally read a thread here or check fb. I know people have said you have to concentrate on eating with no distractions. That just hasn't worked for me, the phone method has.

Cramping in back and top of legs
NoleGirl98 replied to 13Tess's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I had them in my lower legs. Thought it was a sign of dehydration so I upped my fluids and have been good.
