I have to confess, I have the "new band" whatever that is and I have cheated. I was banded 8/23 and have had a terrible appetite. I have had no problem with vomiting, or actually anything, axcept soreness, I have to cook for a big family and I have tried a few bites of things and now the guilt is killing me. Have I messed up everything?

I have really know idea, the Dr. said this was suppose to be better, actually maybe it is, I have had no problems, vomiting, or anything and he said it is suppose to be a little easier to lose. I am sorry, I was so anxious they could have put my husbands belt around me and I would have said okay! I really didn't get details. Good luck I am sure they are all using what is called the "new band" whatever that is by now.

I had it booked quite awhile ahead of time. Maybe he was just full, I know he does alot of other surgeries too. How are you doing? Have you gone to your first app. yet? I was wondering what happens on the first app. Do you get a fill? Good Luck to you. It is exciting thinking of actually losing weight.

<p>Hello, I too was banded on Aug. 23, doing quite well, except I could really eat something. My hubby brought in some fresh grape tomatoes from the garden yesterday and without thinking I popped one in my mouth and eat it and then freaked, I thought oh know, I am going to die!! Obviously I didn't but now everytime I have a pain I think of that little tiny tomato. Are you able to eat cream of any soups or pudding yet? I am feeling better everyday. I am walking more and hoping that I can lose as much as possible before the end of Sept. I am going to Virginia to see my youngest son who is going to dental school, he has always been on me about my weight. Wish me luck. Godd luck to all out there. -
Hello All, I just had my band yesterday. Not to scare anyone, but I am in some pretty good pain, only when I breathe!! Is that normal? I really don't think I have done anything, maybe just expected to go in and run a marathon afterwards by what I have read. I was lucky to get right out but it hasn't been a picnic, the last thing I want to do is eat. Am I just a wimp?
