Hi, my name is Carrie. I am a 30 year old mother of three from New Orleans, LA I have been over weight my whole life. It wasn't until my adulthood and having my first child I started packing on even more pounds. I have tried on my own to lose the weight but have been unsuccessful. I started the process of surgery over a year ago but got scared and stopped. I told myself on my 29th birthday that if I don't lose some weight by my 30th birthday I would go through with the surgery...surely enough the scale hardly moved. So I prayed,prayed and prayed some more and now I will be getting the gastric sleeve because I choose to live a health long life and not die! I chose this site because I want to meet people who have struggled like me and one day encourage someone who feels the way I do today. : )
