Hi everyone. I am Shirlyn, 31 years old female from Santa Cruz CA. I just had my sleeve done at Stanford hospital on Dec17 th. The surgery went very well however my recovery has been very dfifficult this far. I am extremely nauseous and am unable to get in anything other then water. My blood sugar has been very low (57-81) because of it and apple cider seems to be the only thing I can manage to get in to help it. I can not get my protein or ulcer/ gallstone meds in to save my life. I have the patch on for the nausea and am taking zofran every 8 hours without much relief. The patch is causing me to be dizzy and have blurred vision. I have noticed that when i do not drink for a couple hours the nausea goes away. As soon as I start to drink water, it comes right back. Because I am so fearful of becoming dehydrated, I am drinking 30ml of water every 10 minutes.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions if so?
Good news is, i am down 11 lbs in 8 days.
